<deep sigh> Well, now that I've read this and had time to adjust to it while helping with homework, and dealing with questions like, "Do you think the chicken is ready yet, Mom?", I can spend some length of time on the computer. I am very humbled and honored to be chosen poet of the week. There are so many phenomenal poets in this forum, how do you pick just one? And, Rich, btw, I want to thank you in particular for making myself and all the other new scribes here feel so welcome and accepted. You will never know how much feeling accepted in this forum means to me(or, maybe somehow you do). You're such a great poet yourself, where do find the time to do all of this? Let me know what vitamins you're taking, ok? :) Thanks again.

Thanks for your praise, I will try to keep it coming with ease this week. *smiling..smirking actually* What inspires me of late to write, is all of the life altering changes I've been through this past year. My favorite poem by a well known poet, I Rise by Maya Angelou. My favorite poem that I have written lately is Open Letter to God. That one flowed so strongly and quickly that I even had to say, Whoa!"
