Not to get to deep into for the ones who has not seen it yet!!!!!

This movie was a very multi-layered flim. It can be broken down in many ways.. You got the oracle (black Female) Vs the architec (White Male).. and their struggle for control /balance...
Did anyone notice how The Sistas in this installment took control..

yo, the sistahs really owned it, yeah, which is one a tha reasons I dig the film. Actually the last two - first Matrix was still a little white. But the council was mostly female, which I loved, and lotta sistahs in the last two flicks. Jada Pinkett's driving in #3 saved the day, actually - she was bossin around Morpheus. :D

I like the Matrix movies cuz they represent people of all races: black, asian, white, east Indian, etc. Wish all movies were that egalitarian.

i finally saw it and I enjoyed it. Most of my co-workers hated it because it didn't answer anything. But I thought the movie was reflective of Biblical references and things, so it made plenty of sense. I do have a confession to make ...I have never seen the first Matrix in its entirety because I feel asleep on it (twice). I went to see the second one and it was boring and sometimes so redundant that I was ready to scream in the theatre. The third one had great action scenes and the black women did represent nicely. I enjoyed it. Neo giving up a lot for the betterment of his people. Symbolic...

overall...It was a whole lot better than #2.

The First Matrix was a classic, The Gaytrix Reloaded and The Gaytrix Revolutions were absolutely pitfull, and were filled with so many plot holes, that even the gods of film could not patch them up.

Some movies were meant to let stand alone, not be made into a continual stream of sequels.

When the (Ancestors) Africans were forced againts their "Will" into "Slavery"...that was when "We"..."Entered the Matrix"
The fact that in this story that "Is" based in "Truth"...the Truth of "Good" vs "Evil"...Ware the Good African has to fight for their "Human-Right" to exist on this planet. We must know by now that "We" as African People have "Not" been in control of our own "Lives"...some one else "Is" controling our veary "Distenies" and "Any-One" who does not know this is "Sleep" and having "All" of their "Ideas" pumped into their "Minds" by some one else. In the "Mind-Control" that is fead through the tube of "Media" and "False" worship by way of European Biblical Myths that in reality does not have any thing to do with African ancestors but Europe's tales of how they made "You" a "Slave" along with their European battle hymes like "Onword Christian Soldier-Marching into War-with the Cross of Jesus going on Before"?!! This battle song was never sang by your African ancestors who never heard such a thing untill the Enemy came like the "Butchers" they are and murdered millions and the rest is history as (we sit today wondering what happen to us) they are the same people who we became Slaves to under that veary (Matrix) "Song" and others.
The "Women" in the Matrix played a veary strong part in this stroy as the Black Women will and must play the same powerful role in our struggle for absolue "African-Liberation". In fact ''The Black Woman (Ms Sophia Stewart) who Claims She wrote the Story Matrix http://www.finalcall.com/artman/publish/article_1745.shtml and was Ripped Off by the European Brothers who stole it and made Millions from the Movie" is in court now trying to prove the "Truth". Who are "Your" ancestors and why don't you honor them and call their names out loud?? Why are you honoring European ancestors and feel soo proud to get recognition from them when they can get you to answer quick-triveil questions to see how well you have learned what they wanted you to know...and you think you are "Smart"?!! If you don't know that you are in the Matrix...then you will never get out of it. The truth is..."You" are being used to "Power" the Matrix System and are only "Dreaming" otherwise...Wake up!!!

Ase`

"What you know you can't explain but you feel it. You have felt it your entire life...that there is something wrong with the world and you don't know what it is...but it is there...like a splinter in your mind...driving you mad"

One of the worst movies ever

The entire Matrix series was in my perspectives, one of the best movies to ever grace the Silver Screen.

Just like the Star Wars Trilogy, one cannot view this series of films in the perspective of "sequels". To do so, only takes away from the overall purpose of the story. In fact, it was explicitly stated at the very beginning production of the first film, that it was meant to be a trilogy. There were also many plot-holes in the first film, that indicated this fact.

As "MOOR-FIUS" (very aptly named, you are my Brother) stated, this trilogy is a mythological metaphor for the state of affairs of humanity in this linear realm, in these days and times.

The film is rife with Buddhist, Kemetic, and Native American esoteric theology, which is not conincidental, since we should all know by now that a conscious Black woman was the original writer of the film, and not the Wachowski Brothers, one of whom turns out to be a transexual.

It should also be known, that this Sister also wrote the Terminator series (falsely attributed to James Cameron), which was connected contextually to the Matrix saga.

I may return later to break down some of the esoterum that is conveyed in this film, and how it translates directly into spiritual awareness and enlightenment for us in the "real world" (pun intended).

But suffice it to say, if you are looking at this trilogy for the sole purpose of entertainment, though that factor does indeed exsist within it, you will perhaps be left lacking.

If you are one of those that seek enlightenment in all that you do, say, think, and watch, then this saga will appeal to you on many unforseen levels.

PEACE
