I have not been able to keep up with watching football lately. But I hear alot about fantasy football. Can someone explain what does it mean and what happens?

fantasy football is teams you pick and play the game
almost like a football pool i my self never played it
but watch how it was played each week everyone pick there teams to win that week and it's played by points
of teams playing live .. fun game but too much betting
going on to enjoy it now it's like paper chase to me...

I've been in a few leagues...I'm doing ok in the one I'm in now. I'm in 5th place and rising. You actually pick different people from different teams...You have a lot of great players from different teams on your "fantasy" team. It could never be in real life, but when you add the points up from what each individual does it's really fun. My team is Brad Johnson, Kerry Collins, Keenan McCardell, Santana Moss, Kevin Johnson, Shaun Alexander, Correll Buckhalter, Jeremy Shockey, Freddie Jones and Ike Hilliard...A whole bunch of folks from all over the league....so you try to watch all your players. It was a great scheme to get people to pay attention to NFL football. You can even change the rules. Like in our league we have two QB's, but most don't do that. The league has a commisioner, a draft on a certain day and time, League rules....a whole host of stuff. It's fun. All you gotta do is find some folks that want to do it and compete amongst your friends.....
