To start the BEARS not going nowhere fast this team need a
full makeover ......

but how about Kansas City chiefs the hottest team

and can Tampa Bay come back and make a strong showing
to defend their title as champs ?
with Minnesota undefeated and hot with M.VICK out can
Atlanta stay above the slump ?

The Indianapolis colts also one of the best out playing
deep smooth football

How is your city doing in this year start of the season!?

mines well they are in a real slump and no line help to
protect our brutha Kordell Stewart no pass protection
and the A. Train not busting loose the D is sloppy
The BEARS need a face lift and make over could be some
jobs lost and heads rolling after this season 0-3 start
:(

1. The Bears anger me. Why do you destroy the defense that took you to the playoffs. You get rid of Roosevelt Colvin and then you pay Urlacher a crap load of money. I have no problem with Urlacher getting paid, but now he's the center of attention for all offensive lineman because there is no one else.

We have no pass protection what so ever so all of Chicago will be turning on Kordell real soon, even though it's not his fault. We no longer go to Booker on the pass and David Terrell is more mouth than talent thus far. I can't take it, but I'll never give up. We just have to stop playing like Little Leaguers and tacklin' like wussies.

2. The chiefs are doing their thing.

3. I think Tampa will ride with their coach and their defense will hold them afloat, but I don't think they'll repeat.

4. Minn is bangin'!!! Culpepper is playing good ball. My baby M. Vick (crying). I think Atlanta has a good enough Defense (underrated) to hold on until he's back. If they play off the D, they should be ok, but their offense is a little inconsistent.

5. The Colts...My other team. My main man and family friend EJ cut his dreads. I'm hurt by that, but he said he had to because it was becoming a major distraction in his game. Said it was "*******' wit his money." I like they way they are playing though. Marvin Harrison is the man as usual.

1. The Giants are doing alright. Jim Fassel has to get his head out of the past and start playing for today. He's afraid to be aggressive because of things that happened last season. The Giants have too much talent to be 2-1 right now. If Jim doesn't start coaching like he has a talent-rich team, we're going down in flames. Our defense is better than I thought it was going to be this season. we are really getting after the QB. We need to work on our zone pass coverage, but we're alright besides that.

2. I feel bad for Kordell. He's in a really bad situation. He's always under pressure and because of that he's made some bad throws. Kordell does have his flaws, but he'd be a lot better with a solid offensive line and a good running game. Da Bears don't have either. And the defense is falling apart. I wish Colvin didn't have to go.

3. The Vikes...whoa! Who would have thunk it? They are playing great. Everything is clicking. Runnning game, passing game, defense. Daunte got his money and now he is really shinning. Randy Moss catches anything in a 7 yard radius. I can't even hate on them. Go VIKES!!!!

4. Tampa Bay got caught up to. Their fast, but they can't stop big strong running backs. They're going to do well, their offense is got better this seson. But they can't repeat. Everyone is talking about them being better this year. They are, but too many teams surpased them

3. The Chiefs...best team in the league. I really like them. Priest Holmes is the best running back in the league. Defense has really stepped up. **** Vermiel has them doing everything GREAT. Not good but GREAT. Daunte Hall is sooooooo dangerous. He's a threat to score everytime he touches the ball.

4. The Colts are good. And they are going to get better. They beat up on the Saints pretty badly last week. They won't so that to Tampa but they can win if they play right. If their idiot, liquered-up kicker keeps producing...this team is close to unbeatable. Marvin Harrison is the 2nd best reciver in the L. I think Peyton is overrated, and I hate all the calls he me makes at the line, but he gets the job done.

5. San Fran needs to dump Terrel Owens. They can go out and get a better reciever. They have other needs they need to fill. And he's becoming a problem. Jeff Garcia is getting pummeled.

That's my 2 cents on the subject.

wow!! the BEARS played like a football team and Kordell Stewart
was super the D came up big urlacher a sack a few turnovers and look a stewart for the 2 point conversion made some changing and they looked good beating Oakland 24-21

I agree san Fran need to let T.Owens go
Royal_T i agree with you as well
Giants was stopped in their tracks but the Chiefs steam roll on

me too but what's wrong with Oakland they don't look like
the same team from last year or not playing well lost all there
road game so far and to come in and drop one to the BEARS
but Jerry Rice is still on top of his game here is another HALL of FAMER but Oakland is questionable ???

Oakland is the same team from last year...which isn't a good thing. They were all old last season and now they've just gotten a year older. Jerry Porter is out for the season(I think) so they lost the youth that they do have. It's not pretty for Oakland. Other teams are just a step faster, a bit stronger and overall more athletic than they are. That's not a good thing for Oakland.

I saw the Giant game. I saw them lose. But they shouldn't have lost. They shut down Ricky Williams. The Dolphins passing game wasn't that great. But they had better field position than the Giants all game long. Plus Kerry Collins threw 3 picks. No one can win like that.

I was so mad at myself. I TURNED THE CHANNEL!!!!!!!!!!! I woke up this morning and found out that the COLTS won. What happened? Tampa was killing them. All my friends keep talking about the game and about how great the comeback was. I'm so mad at myself. I got to give it to the COLTS, they showed a lot of heart. Too bad I didn't see it.

By the way...I wonder how Keyshawn is feeling. Esspecially after he was talking sooooo much smack about Marvin Harrison. Marvin out preformed him and walked away with the win. So much for Keshawn outpreforming guys from his draft class when they go ead to head.

u should be, that was the game of the year (so far). I talked to my friends brother (who plays for the Colts) when it was 21-0 all I heard on the other line was, "T this is terribel, I'm gonna have to call you back." I swear right after that, all heck broke lose in my house. Peyton's big head self was throwing balls all over the place and that on-side was the best I had ever seen. Good game...It should be an instant classic soon.

spot and the Cowboys have lost back to back games the wild

$$RICH$$

I strongly feel the Eagles will be one team
and again i liked the Colts
now the wild card is set
Baltimore vs Tennessee ........Tenn
Carolina vs Dallas................Panthers
Green Bay vs Seattle .............Packers
Indy vs Denver ......................Colts

SayWord

I don't know about Indy beating Denver. Denver is going to have Clinton Portis back, and that boy can run. Then you're going to put him up against a team with a really bad run defense. And Denver's D has been tightening up. I don't know if Peyton has it in him. Denver got this game.

$$RICH$$
01-05-2004, 12:50 AM
as we watch Peyton break down Denver at home putting up
big number and a great game as he take the COLTS to a victory
2nd Round play
the heat gets hotter with

Green bay vs Eagles
COLTS vs K . C
Tennessee vs New England
Carolina vs st.Louis
i will add my picks later this week what is yours ???
as Round one i was 4 - 0

my picks are
Eagles over Green Bay McNabb is having a nice
playoff run and Green Bay is fading

this one is tough but as i picked the Colts Manning
will not do it again and K.C is still the powerhouse
my pick is (K.C) in this one by a hair

Tenn gets the nod over New England McNair is a hard strong QB and will shine in this one

St.Louis will take the Panthers down too strong of
a team but the panthers are gonna make a run at it

what are your thoughts in round 2 of the playoffs
and can i strike gold again with my picks who
agree or dis agree here ????

SayWord

I got
Philly over Green Bay
Carolina or St. Louis
Tenn ove N.E.
KC over Indy

Philly is ready, they really are. Carlina's defensive line is amazing. Tory Holt isn't catching balls is Marc Bulger is on his back all day. And with Juluis Peppers rushing from the end..he's going to have a long day. Tenn is a team that's not ready to lose. How does your QB throw 3 picks, your running back dislocate his shoulder...and you still win. I like N.E., but TENN is taking them out. It's time for Peyton Manning to come back to earth. He's not going to have another game like that. Not in the play-offs. I don't care if the KC defense is kind of weak. KC can beat Indy in a shoot out. Let's pray that I'm right.

:toast:

nice picks sayword st.Louis will be tough
but i do have second guess on the Colts this the team i took
from the start to shut down K.C but i think K.C will slip by them
peyton will not have a out burst like last week but he can come
through on da big plays it will be a close call on this one i may be wrong here time will tell we both agree on who will move on
let's see

$$RICH$$
01-12-2004, 12:59 AM
after a wild weekend of football i went 1 - 3 on this one
i should have stayed with the team of my choice the COLTS
witch i have to win da superbowl 2004 so get ready
but wow!
dis you see the Panthers game a wild finish of overtime
like the packs who had it should have went for the firstdown
with less then a yard to go in the forth but McNabb was too
much 107 yards rushing strong arm Eagles headed to the
super bowl
Tenn had a chance as well but N.E was on fire Brady had
his game face on whewwwwwwww!!

well here we go as it come to the title games
COLTS over N.E manning is really ready to be the star with
Harrison and James to back him

Eagles over Panthers McNabb will be as good as this week
panthers D will not stop them
so it will be in the SUPERBOWL
COLTS -vs- EGALES .......
what's your thoughts as the football season near it's end ?????

yaphet al-wynn
01-14-2004, 02:21 PM
I concur Rich. If NE weather is in the 30's-50's ABOVE freezing, no snow, sleet or any downpour or precipitation from the sky,the Colts win and I believe the momentum is running out of NE. If it is below freezing with snow-the Colts chances could be difficult to say the least. The weather is key in that game. McNabb played through his mistakes and matured last week into a pressure QB. He HAS to have a GREAT mistake free game and the offense jump on Carolina early like they did Miami on Monday Night Football earlier in the season. Any type of close game scenario favors Carolina.

$$RICH$$
01-14-2004, 04:54 PM
good point on the close game stat because Carolina Panthers
can always pull out the close ones but this will be a route of a
game where i feel the Egales & McNabb will come out on top

now the weather can be a big factor.....i agree it will be the X-factor to which way this one will bounce but my pick will be the
COLTS

so it boils down to two that standing .....

next year maybe i had this team picked as well
never thought the playoffs would end up like it did
this year and the two left standing for the title
who will it be
PANTHERS ?
or
NEW ENGLAND ?

panthers did beat the odds winning on the road
to earn this trip to the superbowl there first

Brady will out gun the panthers D .

what is your thoughts or pick ?

triniti424

T :toast: he more I watch football the more it seem to be like boxing and wrestling. Not taking anything away from the two teams that are there but no doubt there are far better teams that should have pushed in to the big game. Crazy calls and such kept them out so hey here we are looking at the sosp opera again. If New England win whihc they will I will scream as I did when the stole the game from the Raiders in the snow a couple of years ago. :argue:

I'm going with the Panters even though I don't care either way. I'm not too impressed with the Pats especialy since the Raiders should have gone to the Super Bowl instead of the Pats last time they were there. But who really cares I'm watching cause I love football. If not for that I would have stopped watching the playoffs when the Titians lost. But my Ravens will be back next year, bet.
