We would also like to announce the Empowerment Forums, which will be a message board especially for community activists, social service providers, nonprofit staff, consultants and clergy.

Empowerment Forums listed grant opportunities, research data useful in developing programs and grant proposals, as well as news stories that are relevant to urban renewal.

The site will also be featuring articles by community developers that with whom i cross paths. there is also plenty of book recommendations and links of great online resources for those that want to get their activist feet wet.
