Lurking behind my heart
Lingering in the depths of my soul
Envading my thounghts,
Forgetting not, as you haunt my memories
Hallucinating and daydreaming about the things we used to do and...
I still feel you
Together standing before the horizon,
Watching the blazing sun arising
Me and you, hand and hand, inseparable
Or so I thought...but somehow...
I still feel you
Right next to me. I remember...
Teaching one another new philosophy and
Thinking about one another constantly and
Talking to each other honestly and
Toching each other sensually and
I still feel you
Listening to me carefully and
Teasing me playfully and
Loving me truthfully and
Wanting me openly and
I still feel you
Reaching the inside of my soul
that magnificent body I used to hold
Now I'm alone
My toes no longer hold that same curl
Spritz is the only thing keeping my world
I still feel you
Inside of me
I still feel you
On top of me
I still feel you
Underneath me
I still feel you...like a
Summer Breeze....now you're gone
And it's cold as Hell....

you know i just wrote a poem today about missing someone that once was...it's nice to know that i'm not alone in feeling the emptiness a good love gone bad or wrong, or just plain gone can cause. much love and respect.
