ive been away
ive been dealing with some emotional stuff and i always read this poem for inspiration

from the heart thru the dome

When

When I put my head down
Down low, my smiles erect from frowns
I feel as if I’m closer to your grace
I wanna kiss you but you have my face
I let out my hand
I can feel you when you laid your hands on that man
Knowing I can’t touch you but I feel your touch
Light reflects off the tears, I love you much

When I put my head down, a voice spoke to me
On a piece of paper in my mind you wrote to me
Speak to me, I don’t know what to do
You told me there is no limit to what I can do
I lay in a bed of nails with no marks like skids on concrete
I touched a rose with my hand and welts formed on my feet
Do you understand me, why do you continue to fall beneath?
There is nothing to fear, my love is in your speech

When I put my head down, a young boy starred at me
I could see his feelings swirl thru my mind like nightmares to me
Building his future with your ill- mannered ways
I told you I would be with you to the last of your days
In many forms you came to me, like water that leaked from your car
The vapor that leaked your dream from a falling star
In the event all I could do was scream
The reality I see is a result of dreams

When I put my head down, I wanted to stop
An uncontrollable force lifted my face when I started to drop
Tears streamed down, I couldn’t let go
If you ask I’ll speak your dreams out the 4
I was there for you when you was ashamed
I taught you to move on when you’ve been retained
Remember all that I’ve done let this be your words
Nobody understood what you meant in your slurs

When I put my head down, I saw life spinning
I wrote when, and cried from the beginning
I can only speak for myself, just listen to words that I say
I only saved this for you in case I never see the day
If I left any belongings when I left the room
This is the message impregnated in my womb
There is nothing that can be done to me
When I let the spokes spin, they spin eternally
