The glow of your skin is radiant.
The touch from your lover is vibrant.
So much to your surprise, it's right
in your eyes.

And it whisper's your name...

Who is it whispering like butterflies
flapping their wings?
What is this exasperatingly euphoric
thing?

And it whisper's your name...

Tenderness is your sustenance
and understanding is your thirst
quenched. And security and warmth
are with you in each and every inch.

And it whisper's your name...

"When love calls you better answer.."
You have to catch your breath and let go. Give in to the thrill of not knowing.
And be off "On the wings of Love".

And it whisper's your name...

And you finally recognize the voice as your own. As you settle in the arms of the one that you love and every where they are feels like home....

It's pure fantasy, but it's my take on what finding love is like...Soon, I will achieve that level of trust and security with someone, but as for now, I will save my Passions for my Poetry!

I so appreciate your taking the time to read and respond. It means a lot to me. I know most women can relate to this sort of poetry and I get a kick out of reading your responses. Please forgive me for not being on the board to read other's work, as I am recuperating from my final back surgery!
