Fidel and Castro!!

but I saw no face
looked into reflections
minds eye in the way

she is not easy
minimalist complex
breathes Cuban cigars

samba poetry
beats wait for Castro to die
heart rhythms bloom free

with bare white ash arms
frozen lightning bolt branches
earthen cloud below

scrubs once errant floor
moves of circular motion
smiles in wet mirror

overtime tonight
eternities in guava
pulse flavored bridges

I click to this light
symbols are read far away
we are here and there

love keeps us grounded
as spirits union wings lift
altitude beckons

we all break for death
pieces of the everything
once one becomes all

our comfort is dreams
joy moves tangled wild waking
we manifest thought

halfway there to free
almost those another words
something left to lose

her scent embedded
each nook of my smile traces
three thousand mile stare
