I was surfing the net the other night looking at other forums and was very dissapointed to find that THREE of my pieces had been copied and taken to another forum under another's name. I know that it had to come from this forum because this is the only place that I've ever posted my work. To whomever this could've been I feel very sorry for you that you have to take another's words and use them as your own. There was a few pieces by this mysterious author that also came off of this site that I noticed on the next. I haven't lost my love for this forum, because I really have found a loving home here, but like every family, there are those few whom can't be trusted. Hopefully whoever it was will see this and remove my work from that forum. Thanks for listening.

WOW!! What an awful thing to happen!!

If your work is copyrighted your work will be protected.

I hope that person removes the work from that site that they stole from you.

It just isn't right!!

Alizentang ... this is such a great violation. Please share the link to the forum where your work and the work of other poets here has been posted. If you can, please give us direct links to it, so we can see the person's name who stole poetry from here.

We have a very strict and long standing policy here, regarding Copyright Infringement - Stealing (http://www.destee.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1345), and we also have a forum where violations can be posted (http://www.destee.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7937). It's no small matter here. We don't allow Members to post work that belongs to others, without including the owner's permission. We take this position so that we can stand firm regarding our Member's property being respected in like manner.

Please Sister, post the forum where your work and other poet's work can be found. At the very least, we can notify the forum owner, making them aware that the violation has occured. Hopefully they will remove the stolen property or require their Member to remove it.

It's wonderful that our Members visit other sites and recognize our work when they see it. Thank you for this information Alizentang.

If a person has the nerve to steal, they should have no problem being called out for it.

I'm suprised by, unfortunately it happens everyday but "Please"
as Destee requested, let your fellow poets know the sites.

This is very disturbing, it should also reinforce the importance

Destee and the fam...here's the adress right down to the exact page.... The suppossed author's name is "Anonymous". HA HA isn't that funny. Most of the pieces HAVE been deleted, however one of mine is still posted, only a few words were changed. See my piece which I have reposted entitled..."Dangerous Love" and the one by ANonymous entitled "Do You Love Me?".

Is it just me or is there a few similarities? Hmmmm. Well at least whoever it was saw this and did something about it. Please don't bite off of me.
