Hey Brothas and Sistahs Let me introduce myself My name is Lakisha In slavic that means The Rainfall (So all you Kisha's out there who can't find a Card or a key chain in the store with your name's meaning on it That is what it means) I am a 22 year old african american Pentecostal who joined this site because I would like to connect with my Brothas and sistahs I decided to introduce my self by asking this question If you had a THEME song for your life What would it be? My answer to this question was a Song R. kelly so beautifull sung "If I could turn back the hands time" I know yall remember that song because when he sung it made you remember all the mistakes you wish you could not have done and you also remembered words you should have said but didn't Don't we all wish could take the watch off of the wrist of God and wind back to the past but only God can erase our mistakes and give us a better future so if any of yall are feeling my words Answer the question. :toast: God bless you

I would Like to say  welcome  welcome  welcome.

And a little word of advice. When entering this site you better have the full armor of God on. Sike, I'm joking but seriously There is some serious stuff on here that's empowering that could either make ur beliefs stronger or make them weaker. it could have you questioning ur self if ur not convinced and planted in who u r. But then again even if you are you still may get doubts. There is all types of stuff on here and people on here that you will learn alot from and about. So I advise when entering Destee's house you be open minded and accpeting of all the love and knowledge you will recieve and in return love back and learn.

Much love and Respect

Poetic sista ( I  to you with right hand over  )

My song would be "Take it to the Sky" by Earth, Wind & Fire. Only true EW&F fans know this song.

My theme song would be Sam Cooke - A Change is Gonna Come I know there are people doing worst than me but life is still a constant struggle for me. As long as I stay optimistic things will get better.

Great day and welcome Sista. I only thought of a song choice that was listed in the box. I hadn't thought of one of the many that I truly love and could apply. enjoy your stay here

Hey there Rainsfallsong...greetings and welcome

What a great thread. Off the top of my head, I like a song that's not about an individual per se but about life in general. I like it best sung by Louis Armstrong--A Wonderful World. :D

I hope you enjoy your stay here and at some point, you like it so much that you will decide to become a Premium Member. You sound like a sister with style and grace just by the way you entered our community. I'm looking forward to seeing you around!

Peace,
Queenie
