To my peeved one

“Don’t be mad”

--John Wideman

hey—
u mad?
I’m sawee—
I luh’u
I know—
i-i I know—
i been on ghost for a second now—
but...—
sweetheart—

i pump thoughts ‘a you thru—
my unconscious soul
sugah—u
feel me—?
I really truly am sorry
I miss-ded-did-ded-ded-did you
Inexplicably..
U still mad...?
Sweetheart...
U forgive me?

From my tallest hair on the top of my head—
To the ends oh my skimpy piano-playin fingaz—
To my shaped stummach
To my legz—
Everyday...back and forth—
To my feet
(couldn’t understand my journey if u lived it)

(at any rate)
The whole of my physical form—
worships every pitch of your voice—
sweetheart—is u listenin’?
baby—u

Entrance—

Mesmerize—

Cap-tiv-ate
n-cite
every inch of me—
know that and...

Just don’t be mad—

Sweetheart—
U HEAR ME?

Makes me think of that song "Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word". Anywho, I enjoyed the creativity with words in this. Another nice one to bring back.
