help me please, im a 14/f from cali. and i wanna write my feelings into a poem,before i hurt myself. but it is just hard for me to start, i know if i start i can get a rythem, but it is very hard for me to start, someone please help me.:rolleyes: :confused:

Hey there baglady....Welcome to our Forums! Baby sis I hope that you don't do anything to hurt yourself. No one here would want you to do that and I'm sure there are others who know you personally that feel the same way.

It's good that you have come here to seek help, but if you're serious and feel as though you want to do something drastic, please talk to your parents if you can, or your closest friends, and if not them, talk to a teacher that you can trust and ask them to please help you to find professional counseling. I'm sure there's a crisis hotline in your area if you're really feeling desperate and want to reach out for immediate help.

Poetry is a beautiful way to put your thoughts down on paper to express how you feel. Brother Rich is a well respected poet in our community and a very kind and compassionate man. He will be more than happy to help you to get started with your writing and it would be wonderful if you would share your pieces with us here.
