We have 2 rooms, each can currently hold a capacity of 25. Once there are 25 folk in each room, no one else can get in. Once the FREE period is over, only paying Members will be able to enter, and there will always be space for you.

I think it's a great idea. I was in there with Aqil, Biship, and yourself...and we had a ball. I love it. And, I can't wait until we start holding poetry reading in voice chat. I read a few pieces of poetry and Bishop read one. It was nice. And, playing music with Aqil until 3 am ET was great as well. I loved the music.

To put a voice with a chatname will be great.

Wow ... I just had the most wonderful evening. Yes, like Monetary said, Bishop, Aqil and myself hung out tonight. Monetary and Bishop read poetry, Aqil clicked on everything, finding all the new stuff ... :lol: ... Bishop left around midnight. Aqil, Monetary and i played music till just now ... laughed, played music, talked and laughed some more ... Aqil sangggggggg ... oohhhhhh ... he sings so beautifully !!! ... I saw a completely different side of Aqil tonight, after all these years. The night has been so nice, so peaceful ... I had a wonderful time ... thank you gentlemen for celebrating our new voice chat with me ... on it's first night in the house. Thank you for the encouraging words, the hope you've given my heart. In this changing and trying economic climate when it's hard to predict what the future will bring maybe you can start with quarterly subscriptions. That way for people who don't want to committ to a full year's subscription they can still get "some" chat and you can still get paid. Also, from a financial standpoint it's easier to committ to $30.00 or $40.00 dollars than $120.00.
Also, what about discounts and lay-away? Buy 6 months and get 1 month free? ----hehehehehehehehehehehehehehe

This forum has been so important to me over the years that I would be a stone hipocrite not to contribute what ever was asked of me and ten dollars a month is but a drop in the bucket.
In all honesty I have problems organizing myself in eforts to pay my current bills and the only ones that get paid on time are the automatic drafts so if you could set this up as an automatic draft I would be much more dependable.

I am not into the Chat deal and have not yet gotten the Spoken poety down pat, but I would be willing to support Destee in any way possible, would like to see more flexibility in paying for this service explain that part a little mo' betta please! LOL
Let me know where we are with things. I have been absent cause I am having back surgery and they are doing it in three parts so if you don't see me, I have not abandoned I am just healing. But I will support whatever, however I can. We know that nothing in life is free. Thank you for providing us with a "Place to Be ourselves for so long"!

Can we have a voiceless option Destee? Most of my chat time is done at work and I don't want people to walk in my office and hear me chatting so I mute the voice chat. Until I got my new PC at work, I had trouble getting into the room as others are having. Would it be feasible to have a voice or voiceless chat option? People who wanted to be members could join and hear each other and those who want to type can do that with more than 24 others.

I'd pay but probably wouldn't use the voice option much.

Now, why are you trying to take all of your loveliness away from us...forget them, away from me...dang gone it. I want you up in there right beside me. we do have a voiceless chat option for users who wish to
chat originally as before in CHAT ROOM 1

most of our users are driven to CHAT ROOM 2 because of the music and many of them are at work

we realize that all working environments are not suitable for radio play and open mic entertainment

therefore, most people like panafrica choose to log in when at home or at an internet cafe depending on your city

if you are able to turn your speakers completely down, then it will do the trick

if you are not able to turn your speakers completely down, then you may want to encourage some of the chatters from original chat to swing over to CHAT ROOM 1

i am a little confused...would the "membership" be to support the site..or would it be for the voice/chat rooms?
and yes i would be willing to take out a premioum membership..i just don't like to say that i will give a specific amount each month...some months i might be able to give more, some months less. Or if I give it in a lump sum it might not be what the "monthly" assessment says.and in the end the only thing i've really got is my word and i wouldn't want topromise a specific amount and not do it...

Sister ... Premium Membership payments are not recurring. You're not automatically debited every month.

In order to maintain your Premium Membership, after the initial subscription expires, you must manually do it yourself.

I've never automatically debited someone's account for Premium Membership, unless explicitly asked to do that ... and we only have one Member that's made that request ... Brother KingTubbs ... :love: ... and he too can cancel whenever he wants.

So don't worry Sister, you can change your mind, stop, etc., any time you'd like.
