PISCES THE FISH...

Pisces is the twelfth and last sign of the zodiac, which the Sun transits during the last month of winter, from about February 19th to about March 20th. The symbol for this sign is The Fish; its polarity is negative; its element is water; its quality is mutable; its ruling planet is Neptune; its co-ruler is Jupiter; and on the human anatomy Pisces rules the feet...

In Pisces the emotionality of water, the impressionability of mutability, and the mysterious influence of the planet Neptune combine to produce a creative, mystical individual who seems not quite of this world (i.e., a “fish out of water”). The two fish of the Piscean symbol are swimming in opposite directions while fastened together; duality compounded by ambivalence...

Ever conscious that they are half body and half spirit, Pisceans – who include not only Sun-sign Pisceans, but all in whose horoscopes the sign is emphasized – are pulled this way and that, never exactly sure of where they’re headed, but vaguely sensing that this world is not their home...

The image of the sea provides a clue to the elusive Pisces personality. Just as all streams, rivers, and separate bodies of water must ultimately flow into the sea, Pisces people long to merge their being with another’s, or lose themselves totally in mystical communion with God...

Poets and dreamers, they relate to the ideal more easily than the real. They may try to make the world come closer to their vision through dedicated service; they may express their profound dreams through art, music (which is natural law to all Pisceans), or the theatre; or they may choose to retreat into meditation and solitude...

Pisces children are, of all others, the most addicted to make-believe and magic, and will prolong the delightful fantasies of childhood as long as they possibly can. They also have a profound love and understanding of music (which seems to strike a sympathetic chord from birth), and it will be a source of comfort and joy throughout their lives. If they suffer more than other children do from the pettiness of life, they also have a greater capacity for laughter and pleasure...

Pisceans’ ready sympathy, innocent credulity, and instinctive tendency to see the best in people usually brings them some difficult lessons before they learn to stand up for themselves and be more discriminating in their choice of companions. For most Pisceans learning to say “no” is a lifelong lesson, for their instinct is to trust without question and to give without thought of reward. These traits are the root of their religious depth, but they do not always make for comfortable personal relationships...

Yet the “suffering” and “self-undoing” sometimes associated with this sign are by no means inevitable. Pisceans can do anything once they learn to take responsibility for their lives. For, as the last sign of the zodiac, the Piscean potential for spiritual evolution is unlimited...

At their best Pisceans are capable of being “in the world but not of it,” combining a profound understanding of the materia1 world with an inspired vision of ultimate reality; and a clear perception of time with an ecstatic experience of eternity...

In love matters the Pisces idealism and self-effacement can lead to some curious partnerships. They may be drawn to those who are handicapped in some way; or, on the other hand, they may seek a solid support for their own delicate nature. Pisceans make highly erotic partners and devoted parents...

Their most compatible signs are: Capricorn, Cancer, Taurus and Scorpio; Aries, Libra, Leo and Aquarius are neutral; Gemini and Sagittarius are apt to be difficult. With another Pisces there may be a deep psychic bond, and with Virgo, their polar opposite and complementary sign, there will be both attraction and tension. But ultimately the question of compatibility can be answered only by the careful comparison of both horoscopes.

In work, Pisceans will seldom be motivated by a desire for money or fame. However, they often achieve both, especially in the arts, the theatre, poetry, music or dance. Although basically shy, their love of illusion and their ability to get inside the personalities of other people sometimes draw them to the stage or cinema...

Their openness to other levels of reality makes them temperamentally suited to mediumship, psychic healing, and the ministry. In hospitals, prisons, and social reform they can find a constructive outlet for their spirit of self-sacrifice. Their theoretical intelligence and universal perspective lend them to philosophy, astronomy, mathematics and physics.

Pisces also has an affinity for professions involving the sea, liquids (especially wine and oil), chemicals or plastics, all of which are ruled by Neptune. The colors of Pisces are dark red, violet, maroon and sea green; its birthstones are the jade and the sardonx, and its day of the week is Thursday, which is ruled by its co-ruler Jupiter...

The following are some prominent African-Americans born under the sign Pisces:

Eryka Badu, Charles Barkley, Harry Belafonte, Irene Cara, Nat "King" Cole, Fats Domino, W.E.B. DuBois, Julius Erving, Ralph Ellison, Charlayne Hunter-Gault, Dexter Gordon, Jasmine Guy, Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr., Marlon Jackson, Al Jarreau, Quincy Jones, Barbara Jordan, Queen Latifah, Spike Lee, Haki Madhubuti, Miriam Makeba, Robert Mugabe, Shaquille O'Neal, Sidney Poitier, Ishmael Reed, former Ohio Cong. Louis Stokes, Nina Simone, Willie Stargell, Lynn Swann, Cecil Taylor, Vanessa Williams, Mary Wilson, Nancy Wilson, and Andrew Young...

African-Americans are closely associated to the signs Cancer - due to our African origins - and Pisces. Cancer, the sign of birth, rules tribes and closely-knit family groups. It also denotes a very sensitive and emotional people...

Pisces is the sign of service - of taking on the burdens of others and losing one's sense of individuality as a result. Pisces is also the sign of redemption through suffering; the sign of musical inspiration, dance, and the theatre arts...

Pisces is the sign of tremendous faith, while Cancer is the sign of the soul...

The relationship between the signs Cancer and Pisces is very strong in the astrological lineage of Black people the world over, therefore all people with African ancestral roots are under the signs Cancer and Pisces...

Pisces, which is a water sign, does not take to the Internet as quickly as the air and fire signs. After all, cool and detached cyberspace does not offer Pisces the sensuality in an emotionally warm environment that he/she wants...

The Internet does seduce Pisceans by appealing to their need to escape into the world of imagination, and their need to be alone. And there are lots of different directions for The Fish to swim in! They must be careful, however, or they will become a part of those famous "Net-addict" statistics! Neptune, the planet that rules Pisces, rules photography and film, and there is a lot about the Internet that is an extension of these art forms...

The Internet does offer the Piscean a creative medium that can allow the Fish to create their own website...to write literature or songs (music is their first love) that express their unique but natural spirituality. Once Pisces' initial shyness passes, this sign can find like-minded individuals through chatrooms...

Here are some websites that are conducive to the Piscean nature:

Aqil --- Yooo,

I was moved when i read about the general pisces ways in
this column last week but i didn't really reply until now

#1. cuz it was kinda scary how accurate this is

#2 cuz i wanted to really check this out

In my group of friends - there is a virgo female.
We hate each other.
She's my cuzinz girlfriend, and when we all ran
a poetry night 2gether - she was my subordinate
and still managed to rattle me.

I sometimes even dream about how agitated she makes
me and i wake up mad.

It's evident that we are opposites - she feels i'm too dreamy,
I think she's far too logical ( it's like she has no heart at all ,
even my cuz - an aries - has said that ).

We generally get along, but her constant subliminal
swipes at me leave me scarred very often.

How can i put up a wall against her so her cynicism won't
hurt ?

Keen analysis is a gift of Virgo, whereas expert synthesis is a gift of Pisces, Virgo’s polar opposite and complementary sign. Virgo is prone to tear down; Pisces is the sign of spiritualism and tremendous faith; it is a dual sign; half of it builds up through the sympathetic understanding of itself and others, and half of it – through timidity – allows things to break down or float away. It takes so little to influence Pisces deeply, either for good or ill. Encouragement is vital to Pisces, whereas Virgo ploughs ahead with or without encouragement...

Thank you - but I need to know how I can
Hear her constantly tearing me down, or dogging
thing i believe in - and it not affect me.

What is the suit of armor a pisces can wear
when in the company of a Virgo who seems bent
on destruction ???

What can i do to protect my peace of mind around this person --
that's what i need to know.

Aqil - i appreciate this, i recently made a secret desire
to known , i openly said that I wish i had someone to
converse with about the Astrology part of what
i find myself dealing with from day -to -day,
and then i notice this part of Afronet where you deal with
astrology so keenly.

Expect to hear alot from me.

But i need that answer yo, if there is one.

First of all I would say that you should make a serious effort to seek knowledge, wisdom and understanding, for truth will cause the negative Virgo female to submit to it. Virgos are very intellectual people, and you must deal with them on a highly mental level...

Secondly, you must know your place in the natural order of things, and deal with the relationship accordingly. Man is the Sun, woman is the Moon; the Moon reflects the light from the Sun. Man represents the Sun, the positive masculine principle whose element is fire, therefore creative power. Man is the conscious mind that is contained in the cerebrum, or higher brain...

Woman represents the Moon, the negative feminine principle whose element is water, therefore birth and life (all life began in water). Woman is the subconscious mind that is contained in the cerebellum, or lower brain...

The Moon reflects the light from the Sun because it has no light of its own...

Man plants the seed, woman bears the fruit.

“Sons of God, daughters of men.”

It is the natural order of things...

I am aware of that knowledge and how it applies to
my romantic relationships.
Finding my soulmate and all - I vibe with that completely.

But this girl is my cousins girlfriend, and she's somewhat my
friend.

Both of us are a part of a group of friends who are normally
pretty tight.

Her sarcasm cuts me --- she finds a reason to disagree
with everything i say.
I talk about how i want a few nice cars when
i get rich- ---- she says i'm materialistic.

She constantly looks for holes in my reasoning -
when her life is just as messed up as mine.

Other people are starting to notice how evil she is, and we
all love her and all --- but she's really counterproductive.
She hates EVERYTHING.

What i am asking you in plain english is how i can
PREVENT - her remarks from getting to me.

What is my suit of armor ?

I have recreated the Heavens for the exact moment of your birth, and your nativity shows that you were born with the Sun in Pisces, the Moon in Taurus, and your time of birth gives you Scorpio rising. In other words, you are a Pisces with a Taurus personality who sees the world through the eyes of a Scorpio...

Re: your query...

The three primary forces in a horoscope (the Creator’s plan for human development) are the Sun, the Moon, and the Ascendant, or rising sign. Each has particular meaning according to the sign position and house placement they occupy in your horoscope at the time of your birth.

The Sun represents your basic character; what you need to feel fulfilled, recognized and important. It relates to and represents your drive for significance. It is the individuality...

The Moon is referred to as the subconscious mind, relating to the past, childhood conditioning, instinctive patterns, feelings, and your inner nature. It is the personality...

The Ascendant (or rising sign) shows how you project yourself; the window through which you see the world and the world sees you. It is the mask you wear before others...

The planets in your horoscope show what kinds of energies operate...

The signs show how these energies operate...

The houses show where these energies operate...

Pisces is a deep, sensitive mutable water sign, and those born under it are extremely responsive to the thoughts and feelings of others. You unconsciously absorb the ideas and mental outlook of those around you. The symbol for Pisces is two attached fish, one swimming upstream and the other swimming downstream, implying the drastic duality of emotions in people born under Pisces, the most emotional of all the signs. This symbol also implies the apparent notion that Pisceans are unable to make up their minds.

You desperately want to do the right thing, but as a rule you do not have strong willpower. Therefore, you are easily influenced by external factors. You must learn to stand alone and face the unknown with a simple faith. You always seem to have a tired feeling, which prompts you to withdraw from intense effort and avoid sports. You are not combative, and your aversion to struggle often makes you indecisive in your thinking and acting. But when your supply of patience is exhausted, however, you can become so provoked that it would be impossible to calm you down. Pisceans can be stubborn and allow no one to reason with them.

Neptune, the most spiritual planet in the Heavens rules Pisces, and Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, is its co-ruler. Since Jupiter functions as a preserver, it gives you the faith necessary to maintain vitality and a sense of personal significance. Your charm, humor and sympathy opens many doors of opportunity. Nevertheless, your kindly, moderate nature makes it quite easy for you to get into the habit of allowing things to drift, which can be extremely annoying to others who are more practical. On the other hand – given the duality of Pisces – you can be efficient and exact, which, by the way, are characteristics of Virgo, your polar opposite and complementary sign.

The Piscean temperament varies from being strongly optimistic to being acutely pessimistic. This can be irritating to those who are absorbed in the material world and cannot understand how people born under a sensitive sign can get lost in the business of living. Generally, Pisceans are not ambitious for material or monetary acquisitions. However, in early life their aims appear to be materialistic, since they know instinctively that if the search for the self is to be successful, physical desires cannot be a source of worry. In other words, you must learn to be more careful with other people’s possessions as well as your own.

Your awareness of the subtle undercurrents of human interactions gives you an air of aloofness. Pisceans are impelled to maintain their individuality; you must follow that still, small voice within. If you attempt to force your spirit into a harness that constricts your uniqueness, you will be extremely unhappy. Pisceans like to be enveloped in a dream world where they can forget the self. If this tendency can be developed, controlled and directed, the result is an admirable dramatic ability. It sometimes produces the artist, poet, musician or sculptor. Many excellent and creative dancers are born under this sign (Pisces rules the feet), and since music is natural law to the Piscean, this sign also produces superb vocalists.

Since Neptune, Pisces’ planetary ruler, is also the planet of illusions, those born under this sign have overactive imaginations. You are able to perceive the difficulties in people’s lives and can foresee the painful effects of words and actions upon others. This is so because Pisces has traditionally been associated with the understanding of man. Neptune sensitizes Pisceans to the whole of human suffering, thus you sincerely want to initiate healing and relief. Many Pisceans choose to work in the most sordid conditions, or accept anything that will lighten the load for others. Pisceans from all walks of life devote their strength and time – with no thought of personal reward – to the sick and desolate.

When Pisceans are themselves, they are unselfish, lovable, devoted, and eager to sacrifice themselves for those who surround them, Your Piscean consciousness craves to reach out and become a part of all life, and your emotions are extended with compassion and tenderness to others. You are blind to all defects in those you love and trust.

Pisceans’ character deficiencies are found in the area of fatalism; you must realize that you are not chained to any destiny not of your own making. You have to face yourself realistically in order to bring forth that which you can become. You feel disoriented if you do not recognize and confront all complexities. Once you have done so, your total self becomes absorbed in service, and the whole world is transformed into a radiant sphere where even commonplace things seem to glow.

The key phrase for Pisces is “I believe.”

The Moon, ruler of the personality, was in the fixed earth sign Taurus at the time of your birth. The Moon is exalted in Taurus, meaning its influences are most powerful in this, the earthiest of the earth signs. In addition, this lunar position brings out the reflective and steady side of the Moon, thereby de-emphasizing its changeable side...

With the Moon in Taurus you want the best of everything, and you rarely settle for less. Centered on the material plane, your emotions are attracted to material comforts and possessions. You will stick to your ideals through thick and thin. You’re blindly faithful, sentimental, affectionate, and basically timid. You may lack originality, so try not to be too fixed in your ways.

Your reactions to sense impressions are slow but strong. You have an accurate memory. You will ponder over an action for a long time, using premises, ethics and ideas, and assimilate and act upon information in a slow and steady manner. It is difficult for you to change your mind, and you resent any interference once you have reached a decision. You’re a determined person, with well-developed intuitive powers and profoundly sound judgment.

You want to excel in whatever you do, but also in friendships. Your sense of touch and taste is highly developed, and you probably possess a pleasant speaking and/or singing voice (Taurus rules the throat). You’re fond of music, art, dancing, and all things that make life more pleasurable, thus a great deal of time is expended in gratifying your physical appetites.

You only welcome those ideas that are compatible with your stable temperament. You may be narrow-minded, and you are conservative and conventional. You must guard against pride, laziness, jealousy, and too much stubbornness. Once you set your course, you forge ahead slowly but unswervingly. There is an ancient eastern aphorism that you adhere to most faithfully when necessary:

“Slowness comes from God; haste comes from the devil.”

You seldom succeed in leaving the family tradition or training and ideals that were impressed upon you by your mother, with whom you’re closely (though not necessarily happily) linked. And you have loyal and lasting relationships in friendship, love and marriage...

This position of the Moon also confers exceptional gardening ability. In astrological parlance the Moon in Taurus is called the “green-thumb Moon,” because people with this lunar position have a natural affinity for plants, gardens, and all things that grow...

Venus is the planetary ruler of the sign Taurus, and the key phrase for this sign is “I have.”

The Ascendant (rising sign) in the horoscope (The Creator’s plan for human development) is utilized primordially as a third and very important factor which complements the psychological information given by the combined positions of the Sun and Moon. Figuratively speaking, the Ascendant is the geometrical base that encloses the human triangle where its sides are represented by the individuality (the Sun) and the personality (the Moon).

At the time of your birth the fixed water sign Scorpio was ascending on the eastern horizon. By nature, inclination and temperament, you are an extremist. Whatever you attempt, it is usually done with the full force of your being. Your will is so strong that you fight to the end, regardless of the outcome. Scorpio rising is largely misunderstood by almost every standard. There may be other planetary influences in your horoscope that offset what is often regarded as your Scorpio harshness, bitter criticism, and acid sarcasm.

You are a born executive, and you like very much to operate behind the scenes. It helps to realize that Scorpio is the sign of sex, death and regeneration, and that these aspects of life occupy an important area of your existence.

You share a kind of iconoclasm with Aquarius, though the Aquarian is not the extremist you are. There’s an apparently unquenchable thirst in you for finding out what makes things tick – then reassembling them to make them work better. You do this with objects, people, and even institutions if given half the chance. Very little, if anything, escapes the penetrating power of your observation. If something doesn’t meet with your approval, you will tear down any facade, any theory and any belief to get at the truth. This makes you a natural detective.

In science and medicine the intensity and keenness of your curiosity can bring you rich rewards, yet there is an Aries-like kind of martyrdom – or “self-destruct button” – in the mind of almost everyone with strong Scorpio influences. Extremism again...you have strong likes and dislikes. You love and hate with a white-hot fire, yet you are able to keep things to yourself until some plan of action is mapped out. Scorpio is exceptionally resourceful and self-reliant, and frequently malicious. You have a fertile mind and imagination.

Still...there are several types within the Scorpio nature, and it is difficult to know in advance just how anger will be handled. The undeveloped type, symbolized by the deadly, stinging scorpion, is capable of almost any outrage. The intermediate type is symbolized by the wily serpent, representing increased wisdom. The highly-developed type is characterized by the high-soaring eagle, aspiring to the greatest possible heights. Here you will find scientists, orators, intensely devout spiritual leaders, and fiery debaters.

Scorpio rising is always ambitious and usually manages to gain some sort of high office or executive position. You may have been close to poverty, a condition that may have prevailed in the early part of your existence. But during the second half of your life there is more material prosperity and good fortune than you would have otherwise believed.

Scorpio rising also indicates that there will be excellent opportunities to travel and make money in other areas, e.g., through your spouse, legal dealings, and/or relatives by marriage. You are something of a lone wolf, and you probably have many secret love affairs. More than one marriage is indicated for those with Scorpio rising. The first could result in the premature loss of a marriage partner through illness or accident. Eventually, despite a great series of difficulties and setbacks, you will achieve the success, good position, and probably the honors that you have so long desired...

Mars, the planetary ruler of Scorpio, is your life ruler, and the key phrase for this sign is, "I want."

The Moon was in the fixed water sign Scorpio at the time of your birth. The Moon is "in its fall" in Scorpio (meaning its influences are weakest in this sign) because Scorpio is opposite Taurus, the sign in which the Moon is exalted. Thus this is the least favorable position for the Moon, because the aggressive nature of Scorpio does not blend well with the calm, imaginative influences of the Moon...

Your emotions are extremely intense, and often based on willful desire. You are impatient, moody, and even given to brooding. You are easily hurt, and you can become jealous, extremely revengeful, and hold grudges. You often judge others too quickly, and you feel a need to dominate through subtle means. You will not tolerate opposition to (or interference with) your goals, but often you will sacrifice a great deal for kindness...

You have executive ability and you are resourceful and enterprising. Although abrupt and impulsive, you have self-confidence and the ability to attain success. You usually get what you want or whatever you go after; however, many times you might find that you have achieved a hollow victory...

Since you are so jealous, proud and possessive, this lunar position of does not promise a harmonious intimate relationship. Being extremely secretive, you need an intuitive mate who can sense your moods. And since the Moon is in its fall in Scorpio, its negative influence may indicate promiscuity, self-indulgence, and family problems...

The wish to dominate is often reflected in relationships with your children. This may be the result of your parent’s domination, or of your over-idealization of a parent, usually the mother. With the Moon in Scorpio a mother can be overly possessive, and she may have trouble freeing her child – especially a male child...

You become emotionally intent on completing and enjoying any project you have adopted, and you can seem lacking in sympathy when so absorbed. Your personality is deep, and you have shrewd insight into other people. Very often you enjoy probing into the deep mysteries of life and the abysses of the unknown...

You regard the senses as instruments of pleasure rather than knowledge, responding intensely and passionately to life, especially the sensual, pleasurable aspects of its physical side. Your ability to observe is unlimited; your willpower is often latent, but when you use it, it is often for the betterment of humanity...

You must learn to handle your strong, deep feelings. Since your senses are so important, you should pay strict attention to them - because an afflicted Moon in Scorpio can lead to the dangers of sexual excess, inhibition, perversion or alcoholism...

Mars is the planetary ruler of Scorpio, and the key phrase for this sign is “I want.”

The Ascendant (or rising sign) in the horoscope - which is the Creator's plan for human development - is utilized primordially as a third and very important factor which complements the psychological information given by the combined cosmic positions of the Sun and Moon. Figuratively speaking, the Ascendant is the geometrical base that encloses the human triangle where its sides are represented by the individuality (the Sun) and the personality (the Moon).

At the time of your birth the fixed fire sign Leo was ascending on the eastern horizon. Leo rising shows that you have nothing but contempt for the small or petty things in life. Your nature is basically benevolent and noble, manifesting great pride, generosity, and probably a lot of talent. Leo rising also indicates that you aspire to the higher, more influential and powerful positions in life...

You are dramatic and poetic, with a love of display that others could interpret as nothing more than pure egotism. Although you are a hard worker and your success comes through persistence and endurance, whatever fame and/or fortune you realize usually comes without your seeking it. Like those born under the other fixed signs of the zodiac (i.e., Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius), you display a great deal of self-determination - and may even seem haughty to others. Like Aries, you can reveal a flaring temperament, but your anger is a straw fire that does not last long...

In some way or another you are often associated with important and influential people. You love grandeur in nature as well as in the human soul, and you are attracted to everything that is bright, large and noble. Your undertakings are done with courage, yet you have fixed opinions, dogmatic ideals, and very strong passions. However, you would never admit to being ruled by them...

You have excellent organizing ability, and very often you get your projects approved more by personal magnetism than by mental ability. Chances are there is some disaffection or estrangement from your father, or he was separated from you while you were still very young. You love children and could have many yourself, but there is much difficulty over the health of your oldest. People with Leo rising frequently marry more than once and can have children by each marriage...

You are likely to come into an inheritance and so will your children. Successful business and professional people are attracted to you (and vice versa), and you will prosper through these associations. In the final analysis, all the vicissitudes of life will have little effect on you; you are almost certain to emerge ahead of the game...

The Sun is the cosmic ruler of the sign Leo. and its key phrase is, "I will."

Your Pisces Sun tenants the 8th house in your horoscope. This house has dominion over such things as sex, death, inheritances, insurances, taxes, and other people's resources...

This house placement of the Sun shows that you have a keen interest in the deeper mysteries of life, such as death and reincarnation. This may not have been evident in your earlier years, but it becomes quite evident and more significant later in your life...

There is an interest in self-improvement through the application of the will. You need to experience a deep level of spiritual reality that transcends outer material circumstances; an experience that would root you in an awareness of the eternal One-God principle, which is the substratum of all manifested existence. Once this consciousness is realized, you will become fearless in the knowledge that as long as you adhere to principles of justice, no harm can ever befall you...

The soul-searching lessons that go with having the Sun in the 8th house are likely to be severe, because the realizations that must be gained are of a fundamental character. With this Sun placement in your horoscope, much is required, but much can be gained...

Life may be a battlefield, but permeating the strife is the spirit depicted in the 23rd Psalm of the Holy Bible:

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil..."

The Sun in the 8th house is similar to having the Sun in Scorpio, which is another reason why you have a natural affinity for those born under this sign...

Your horoscope contains a very special and rare aspect, Mahogany. It is called the "Finger of God" aspect, which is a singularly most important and fascinating cosmic pattern. It consists of two or more celestial bodies in sextile aspect (i.e., 60º apart) that are inconjunct (i.e., 150º apart) a third celestial body. The celestial body receiving the two inconjunct aspects becomes the focal point, thus forming the fateful "Yod," or "Finger of God."

(In your horoscope the Moon and Saturn are in sextile aspect, and they inconjunct Mercury, which is the focal point forming the Yod...)

This planetary configuration is often associated with spiritual sensitivity and a strange or unusual destiny. Its rare occurrence is often uniquely Providential in revealing the vortices of destiny as the concrete manifestation of character. It is indeed symbolic of the underlying nature of all reality (as the Kabbalistic origin of its name implies); of those rare instances when Providence becomes more than an intellectual curiosity...

It has been said that those born with the "Finger of God" aspect in their horoscopes have been singled out by the Creator to carry out His special plans. Wherever the "Finger of God" points, there is indicated the manifestation of the prime law of the Cosmos:

Any entity is free to choose how to live, but he/she is bound to experience the full consequences attendant on the choice made…

Peace.

Bluewater:

I have recreated the Heavens for the exact moment of your birth, and your nativity shows that you were born with the Sun in Pisces, the Moon in Aquarius, and your time of birth gives you Gemini rising. In other words, you are a Pisces with an Aquarian personality who sees the world through the eyes of a Gemini. Here are the planetary delienations:

Your natal Sun is 25 degrees Pisces.
Extremely sensitive and emotional, you absorb the emotions of others (whether positive or negative) like a sponge. Emotionally vulnerable, you are easily upset and tend to cry readily. You are at your best when you can structure your environment in such a way that you are surrounded by positive, upbeat people. You are very helpful and understanding of the needs of others. Indeed, at times this can be a disadvantage, because you can be a sucker for anyone who needs help. Shy, dreamy, romantic in nature, you delight in retreating into your private fantasy world. Just be careful that you do not get lost in it! Trust your intuitions...you may be quite psychic.

Your natal Moon is 14 degrees Aquarius.
Very freedom-oriented, you must always be able to do what you wish, no matter what. You become stubborn and recalcitrant when others try to force you into a mold. You are a true democrat...you are not a follower, but you enjoy being with those who are like-minded. You appreciate emotional self-control...you practice it yourself and you look for it in others. You solve problems, including emotional ones, with your brains and intellect, not your feelings. Try to be tolerant of those who have powerful and obvious emotional responses...not everyone is as objective, cool, dispassionate and detached as you are.

Your Ascendant (rising sign) is 24 degrees Gemini
Extremely active by nature, you like to get around, meet people and do different things. Very restless, you just can't seem to stay put. You need to be involved in several projects at once in order to keep your mind stimulated. You like to read books and to write letters, and to talk...constantly. Seemingly ageless, you will always appear to be much younger than you really are. Very adaptable and inquisitive, you are always open to new ideas and experiences. A "jack-of-all-trades", you are lively and versatile. Because of the high nervous tension that you always seem to have, athletic activity would be a good way for you to burn off energy. But be careful of a tendency to experience things only superficially...try to dig in and absorb things at a deeper level.

Mercury, your life ruler, is 7 degrees Aries.
Very quick-witted, you are known for being an independent thinker. You love to debate and argue, and are excellent at repartee and battles of wits. At times, however, you act too fast on hastily formed opinions and thus waste a lot of energy defending your rash and sometimes incorrect conclusions. It is perfectly acceptable for you to defend your beliefs with your usual vigor, but try not to take the opinions of others as personal insults.

Venus is 11 degrees Aquarius.
You are a friendly and outgoing individual, but close relationships are difficult for you to maintain due to your fear that they will cause you to lose your freedom. You attract friends and associates who are exciting, different and sometimes a bit odd. You are popular with others and enjoy working within a group toward group goals.

Mars is 29 degrees Capricorn.
Extremely ambitious, you are willing to work very hard to reach the goals you have set for yourself. Very practical, cautious and conservative, you demand tangible results for your efforts. You need to excel in whatever you do, and you have the required sense of responsibility, dedication and self-discipline to bring it about. Beware of your tendency to judge others only by their degree of status and prestige, or by how well they will be able to advance you in your climb to the top.

Jupiter is 0 degrees Scorpio.
You love to dig deep beneath surface appearances in order to find out what is really happening. A persistent researcher, you are very interested in the psychology of any situation. You tend to become overwhelmed by the complexity of what you uncover, however, and that makes you a bit gun-shy about explaining things to others. But you must learn to try to communicate as best you can because what you know is really very valuable to others.

Saturn is 25 degrees Sagittarius.
Basically quite conservative, you respect traditional authority figures and are very thankful and supportive of the laws and institutions which govern your life. You learn and accept new ideas only after having very thoroughly examined them. Ideals and abstract concepts are important to you only if they can be used in some practical fashion. You are so practical and so orderly that you have natural skills in planning, administrating and organizing.

Uranus is 7 degrees Leo.
You (and your peers as well) demand complete and total freedom of self- expression. You want to make your mark in the world according to your own lights and will brook no interference from traditional authority figures, especially if they attempt to mold or shape you in any way. You are honest and forthright, but a bit offbeat and eccentric. The lack of self-discipline may hinder you from reaching your goals as quickly as you would like.

Neptune, your ruling planet, is 4 degrees Scorpio.
You and your entire generation are extremely interested in anything deep and mysterious. You will explore and idealize the benefits that can accrue from the study of the occult, healing and psychology. You are willing to experiment with substances like drugs in order to push your understanding of your inner being to the extreme.

Pluto is 0 degrees Virgo.
For your entire generation, this will be a time when profound changes in society's attitude toward work, duty and responsibility will be initiated. Radical changes in attitudes toward personal health and general nutrition will be promulgated and gain wide acceptance and practice.

The Moon's North Node is 1 degree Scorpio.
You have a special aptitude for working by yourself, or with a like-minded group of dedicated individuals. Once you've committed yourself to a person or group or project, your loyalty and devotion are total until the group's goals have been realized. Not at all gregarious by nature, you're uncomfortable around strangers, greatly preferring to be in known and familiar situations. Others may regard you as shy or eccentric, but those who know you well are aware of the intense loyalty that you have to your friends...

Bluewater:

The Moon was in the air sign Aquarius at the time of your birth, thus you consider experience a proving ground for yourself. You react to everything on a utilitarian and, at the same time, idealistic level. Release is very necessary for you, as you tend to overload yourself emotionally. You need a cause or project to release tension, or you become frustrated. This can lead to either restless wandering or searching, or to spiritual enlightenment.

This sign position of the Moon overemphasizes friendliness, humanitarianism, and kindliness. Your need for emotional independence can lead to loneliness and difficulty with relationships, although you may brush these off with seeming indifference. Your feeling nature can be cold because you do not understand the emotional needs of someone else. You act warm and friendly, but not especially intimate, suggestive, or penetrating.

You prefer the unconventional, and you value your independence. You are idealistic and broad-minded, but behind your friendly, outgoing manner you hide a good bit of selfishness. You must consciously control your tendency for erratic behavior, aloofness and unpredictability. Your early training in ethics and moral standards will bring good results.

You may be inclined toward politics or education, or toward unusual subjects such as astrology and the occult. You are likely to show originality, ingenuity, inventiveness and scientific ability. Your imagination is fertile, and you have a lot of creative energy. If you are not careful, your abundance of emotional energy can cause your nervous system to suffer.

Your sense impressions are quick and your mind and emotions react together; thus you have mental clarity and involvement. Your blending of religious, humanitarian, libidinal and scientific instincts is good. You have a universal quality and you are ahead of your time. You are a charming friend and companion, and an interesting conversationalist, and you are a born mixer and joiner, especially for a cause. However, you can become too eccentric and experimental in your relationships, and you must avoid being too impersonal or detached...

Uranus is the planetary ruler of Aquarius, and the key phrase for this sign is “I know.”

The Ascendant (or rising sign) in a horoscope (the Creator’s plan for human development) is utilized primordially as a third and very important factor that complements the psychological information given by the combined positions of the Sun and Moon. Figuratively speaking, the Ascendant is the geometrical base that encloses the human triangle where its sides are represented by the individuality (the Sun) and the personality (the Moon).

At the time of your birth the air sign Gemini was ascending on the eastern horizon. You’re fully capable of success in radio, television, journalism, literature, or an acting career. Although you tend to be somewhat excitable and easily upset, you’re just as easily assuaged. You’re original; an idea person; very clever in legal matters; inventive, and a lover of logic, science, art and literature. You love to read; therefore you’re well informed, humane, flexible, and very easy to talk to, for you are a born communicator...

With great subtlety you express a desire for command situations or an executive position. You’re one of the few who can do with neither tyranny nor excessive pride. You come from a small-to-moderately-sized family that is usually well versed in music and art, although some family secrets are the cause of much unhappiness. Gemini rising also realizes unhappiness and trouble through lawyers and/or clergymen. In this unfortunate situation you might easily bring about your own downfall. More than likely though, you’ll probably inherit property and accrue a great deal of professional influence...

In love matters there are many secrets or changes, with difficulty through (or loss of) children. Intrigue is your stock in trade. Gemini rising often has two or more affairs going at once – either that or you may marry twice, once to someone in another part of the country. This most dual of all signs on the Ascendant frequently means the holding of two jobs or positions at once. It also means that you will always have a wide variety of friends. In fact, there is such an inordinate love of variety in your life that strife occurs as a result of the jealously or selfishness of others.

You have such beautifully balanced willpower and resoluteness of purpose that few people realize your potential for real achievement. Chances are you may have a sibling or other relative who holds some kind of executive position or important office...

Mercury is the planetary ruler of Gemini, and the key phrase for this sign is, “I think.”

You're quite welcome, Bluewater...

Upon casual orientation we see that Sagittarius is the sign on the cusp of the 7th house of marriage, intimate relationships, business partnerships and open enemies. This indicates that you are so curious, congenial and self-expressive that you like many people...and thus find it difficult to love just one person. "Don't fence me in!" is your motto...the more liberty you have in a marriage or relationship, the happier you will be, and the longer it will last...

More than one marriage is distinctly indicated, especially since Jupiter (ruler of Sagittarius) and Saturn are favorably aspected in your horoscope. You want companship more than love or sex, and the partner who understands this will command your respect. If you find the right partner and don't rush into an early marriage, you will idealize your mate and try very hard to please him. Your horoscope indicates that a mate born under the fire sign Sagittarius would be an ideal choice...

As aforementioned, Saturn, the planet of discipline and constriction, tenants the 7th house in your horoscope. This Saturn influence indicates that in your dealings with others you are going to present a very cautious personality, and that you will work slowly towards the achievement of security. The environment will be a very restricting factor in your life; the same limitations that hinder your relationships with others will emerge in a narrowness of reception to your ideas and emotions. Astrologically, this indicates that the key to a more spiritual and material development lies in your response to the several tests that are destined for you, which consist of patiently enduring difficulties through human relationships.

Ironically, you are endowed simultaneously with the urge to be elevated in life, but this will happen only at that time when you have overcome these communication difficulties, in addition to being able to sustain the load of responsibility given to you by fate. More specifically, the influence of Saturn in the 7th house may indicate that marriage is perhaps a little inconvenient to your private and small liberties, but in an overall sense, it denotes a point of stability in an otherwise too-fluctuating existence.

Your marital partner will either be older than you or more serious than you, but in any case will remain faithful. You should remember, however, that Saturn does not lend a propensity to be demonstrative in an emotional sense. It does – in those individuals with whom you will start a lifelong relationship – give a sense of duty and stability of emotions that turn out to be permanent and self-sustaining.

Yet you are going to experience some sorrow throughout your married life. This is mostly going to consist of the several limitations that this state will impose upon your personal freedom. The key to a better integration of your existence lies in the ability to view these obstacles and binds with philosophical resignation...

Pisceans Shaquille O'Neal (3/6/'72), Michael Finley (3/6/'73) and Herschel Walker (3/6/'62) share the same birth date.

The great jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery and television personality Ed McMahon were also born on this day in the same year (3/6/'23).

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan (3/6/'26) and singer Mary Wilson (3/6/'44) also share this birth date...

I'm a piscean too, when you LEARN to NOT allow someone's eles's opinion matter, then your armor will shield you from another negative rebuttal...

that means you MUST BELIEVE in yourself, and embrace being content with YOUR beliefs regardless of another's sign...

I have a strong rising sign and mars so I could give a rats behind what someone else says and that's why people know not to project any negative feedback toward me with the goal to dampering my spirit...

when you learn the art of projecting a leadership persona to the world, people will respect your thoughts and choices oppose to dampening them...

learn your astrological chart, STUDY you and learn to project your strengths to the world...b/c you allowing someone's opinion to matter is not a strength...

You're welcome Sister Bluewater...and here's a birthday poem for you. It's called:

A Friend Like You...

There's lots of things
with which I'm blessed...
My problems have been few,
but of them all, this one's the best...
To have a friend like you.

In times of trouble
friends will say,
"Just ask me, and I'll help you through it."
But you don't wait for me to ask...
You just get up and do it!

And I can think
of nothing more
that I could wisely do...
than know a friend...
and be a friend...
and have a friend like you...

Happy Birthday!

Aqil,

I've taken note your threads are hot button in this forum. You are in a unique position to be an authority, no one who enters your realm is aware of the tenants and philosophy underlaying astrology as you are. I thought I'd make it interesting by suggesting there's something other than what's portrayed of the zodiac for all men to consider. It has nothing to do with what's commonly perceived, would you have any idea what Astro is alluding to? It's a teaching that pales all others in comparison, it deals with the constellations and evidences itself as a substantive truth throughout the world in men's languages. Might you or anyone else in this forum know what I'm referring to. If not and a discussion develops you will be introduced to a revelation that's spectacular in its implications, which astrology in its present form is not.

Oh yeah. My place of birth Gavelston County, Texas. Sorry bout that. :spin:

NyAshia:

I have re-created the Heavens for the exact moment of your birth and your nativity shows that you were born with the Sun in Pisces, the Moon in Gemini, and your time of birth gives you Gemini rising. In other words, you are a Pisces with a Gemini personality who sees the world through the eyes of a Gemini. Here are your planetary delineations:

Name: NyAshia
March 7, 1987
11:17 AM (CST)
Galveston County, TX

Your natal Sun is 16 degrees Pisces.
Trust your intuitions - you may be quite psychic...

Your natal Moon is 19 degrees Gemini.
Restless in the extreme, you are easily bored because of your short attention span. Your emotions change rapidly and you love to talk about your feelings. Generally, you have good judgment - your intellect controls your emotions and you do not overreact emotionally to things. A good jack-of-all-trades, you have many-sided interests and enjoy reasoning things through. With your mental agility and need for physical mobility, you are attracted to traveling and learning about other peoples and cultures. You have vivid powers of emotional self-expression - you can be a nonstop talker. You love to share your ideas with anyone who will listen...

Your Ascendant (rising Sign) is 13 degrees Gemini.
Extremely active by nature, you like to get around, meet people and do different things. Very restless, you just can't seem to stay put. You need to be involved in several projects at once in order to keep your mind stimulated. You like to read books and to write letters and to talk...constantly. Seemingly ageless, you will always appear to be much younger than you really are. Very adaptable and inquisitive, you are always open to new ideas and experiences. A "jack-of-all-trades," you are lively and versatile. Because of the high nervous tension that you always seem to have, athletic activity would be a good way for you to burn off energy. But be careful of a tendency to experience things only superficially...try to dig in and absorb things at a deeper level...

Mercury, your life ruler, is 1 degree Pisces.
Your ideas and thought processes do not come to you in an orderly, logical fashion. Instead, you think with your feelings or with images produced by your rich and fertile imagination. A very subjective person, your dreams and fantasies are very important to you. You trust your intuitions and tend to reject ideas that are based solely on logic. Very impressionable, you are sensitive to the moods and emotional states of those with whom you come into contact.

Venus is 5 degrees Aquarius.
You are a friendly and outgoing individual, but close relationships are difficult for you to maintain due to your fear that they will cause you to lose your freedom. You attract friends and associates who are exciting, different and sometimes a bit odd. You are popular with others and enjoy working within a group toward group goals.

Mars is 10 degrees Taurus.
Careful, slow and thorough about all that you do, at times you are also willful and stubborn when others try to alter your course. You are definitely not a quitter...you will work long and hard to get what you want. Your possessions are very important to you. One of your continuing problems is that you tend to regard the significant people in your life much the same way as you do your possessions...you become overly attached and much too jealous. You repress your anger when you get upset and that is not healthy. Try to learn to show your anger immediately in order to avoid painful explosions later...

Jupiter is 1 degree Aries.
The way that you grow and develop is by being an uncompromising individualist. You have a great need to be yourself and to explore your latent talents and abilities. Do not be afraid to let yourself go and develop self-confidence and pride in your accomplishments. But try not to become so self-centered that you ignore the needs of others. Also, you may have to build up your self-discipline in order to focus your energies properly...

Saturn is 20 degrees Sagittarius.
Basically quite conservative, you respect traditional authority figures and are very thankful and supportive of the laws and institutions which govern your life. You learn and accept new ideas only after having very thoroughly examined them. Ideals and abstract concepts are important to you only if they can be used in some practical fashion. You are so practical and so orderly that you have natural skills in planning, administrating and organizing...

Uranus is 26 degrees Sagittarius.
You and most of your peers have the tendency to think that all ideas, customs and traditions from the past are outmoded and irrelevant. You are attracted to radically new ideas, philosophies and religions that will, hopefully, cause sweeping changes throughout the world...

Neptune, your ruling planet, is 7 degrees Capricorn.
You and your entire generation will idealize work, practicality, and the ability to attain reasonable goals. But because you will also stress the need to be selfless and giving, you may find it difficult to attain your goals unless you have lowered your expectations on all fronts...

Pluto is 9 degrees Scorpio.
For your entire generation this is a period of intense research and discovery in areas that were heretofore considered mysterious, remote or taboo. The root causes for many complex occurrences will be unearthed due to the intensity and thoroughness of the search...

The Moon's North Node is 11 degrees Aries.
You're most comfortable when involved in group activities outside of your immediate family circle. You delight in getting involved with others in neighborhood civic or political activities, especially if you can be a part of the leadership of the group. Your zeal and overabundant energy brings out your real creativity when you can work toward tangible results...things that will immediately benefit those around you. You have a real gift for getting the most out of charity drives and community benefits. Take time out between projects though, because you tire easily and your effectiveness becomes greatly diminished when your energy is depleted. Also, don't even think of trying to get involved at a peripheral level...you need a total commitment to feel personally fulfilled. Let others bake the cookies and set up the chairs...you should be the one to tell everyone what to do and when to do it!

Woow! Thank you sooo much Brother Aqil! I am extremely grateful that you took the time to do this for me. It is very enlightening and on point. This chart mentioned things that, if asked, I wouldn't have told anyone was apart of me. But while reading the chart I was able to remember at least one experience that corresponded with most of those descriptions.

"Seemingly ageless, you will always appear to be much younger than you really are."
Yeah that is so true. I'm seventeen and some people say I look twelve! I think it's because I never even started wearing makeup like my female peers did in middle school. I figured it was a waste of energy to try and make myself look older then only to try and make myself look younger thirty or forty years later. Isn't that what a lot of women end up doing? Another thing is I don't think it's just my genetics that make people think I look like a twelve year old because I read somewhere that children these days are starting to physically mature faster than usual. I believe it has something to do with the genetically altered foods sold to Americans. Some of those foods are injected with drugs and hormones that can mess with people's bodily appearances, among other things. I've since stopped eating fast foods, meats, sugar and salted foods, and a lot of things you can buy in common supermarkets. I'm in transition to only raw, whole foods now... "Seemingly ageless" That is just awesome.

I have recently changed my ways towards dealing with my emotions. I'm studying Ceanne DeRohan's Right Use of Will series and have learned the right way to deal with feelings and emotions is to always accept and express them instead of denying or ignoring them. Express them through movement and sound without hurting yourself or anyone else. I've been doin really good there and my reality has gotten a lot better because of practicing Right Use of Will.

Pluto is 9 degrees Scorpio.
For your entire generation this is a period of intense research and discovery in areas that were heretofore considered mysterious, remote or taboo. The root causes for many complex occurrences will be unearthed due to the intensity and thoroughness of the search...
That is so awesome. For the past four years I have been researching things, mainly those historical. Ever since I realized in 8th grade that my American history book was not including much information about Blak people and our accomplishments and what they did include didn't feel quite right to me, so I've been on a search for the Blak truth and over these past years my awareness has increased enormously in historical and metaphysical things. And I'm still searching. It's my passion. I'm glad it says my entire generation because I was afraid I was the only young person interested in the Blak truth, the world, the universe, balance, life...at least that what it seems like around my way.

Well I really enjoyed reading my natal chart and I'm gonna make sure to save it so I can go back and check the areas I need to work on. It was so cool seeing a picture of myself painted so clearly like that even highlighting features that I didn't consciously know I had. Now I know why I don't let myself get too close to people. I have fear of losing my freedom. I wonder where that came from. Another life maybe? Because I don't remeber anything in this lifetime that may have caused that fear. I guess I need to move my emotions around that issue and release that judgment because it was starting to worry and bother me that I wasn't able be close to anyone for a long period of time without drifting away or holding back and I didn't understand what was making me do that. Now I do. :thanks:

Brother Aqil, is this natal chart it or is there more that you can tell me? I want to know as much about my cosmological blueprint as I can. So if there is more and its not too much trouble and if you want to please tell me more. Thank you once again.

Pisces is a deep, sensitive mutable water sign, NyAshia, and those born under it are extremely responsive to the thoughts and feelings of others. You unconsciously absorb the ideas and mental outlook of those around you. The symbol for Pisces is two attached fish, one swimming upstream and the other swimming downstream, implying the drastic duality of emotions in people born under the most emotional of all the signs. This symbol also implies the apparent notion that Pisceans are unable to make up their minds...

Pisceans can be stubborn and allow no one to reason with them...

On the other hand – given the duality of Pisces – you can be efficient and exact, which, by the way, are characteristics of Virgo, your polar opposite and complementary sign...

In other words, you must learn to be more careful with other people’s possessions as well as your own...

Many excellent and creative dancers are born under this sign (Pisces rules the feet), and since music is natural law to the Piscean, this sign also produces superb musicians and vocalists...

Since Neptune, Pisces’ planetary ruler, is also the planet of illusions, those born under this sign have overactive imaginations. You are able to perceive the difficulties in people’s lives, and you can foresee the painful effects of words and actions upon others. Pisceans from all walks of life devote their strength and time – with no thought of personal reward – to the sick and desolate...

Pisceans’ character deficiencies are found in the area of fatalism; you must realize that you are not chained to any destiny not of your own making...

You have to face yourself realistically in order to bring forth that which you can become. You feel disoriented if you do not recognize and confront all complexities. Once you have done so, your total self becomes absorbed in service, and the whole world is transformed into a radiant sphere where even commonplace things seem to glow...

The key phrase for this sign is, “I believe.”

As aforementioned, your natal Moon was in the mutable air sign Gemini at the time of your birth, thus you are interested in the intimate contact of the moment. Your emotional personality requires variety and novelty rather than duration and depth of feeling. You are generally incapable of long-sustained feelings or of undivided loyalties. Though at times you can be insensitive, your perceptions are quick and accurate. You sustain impressions through thought rather than feeling...

Your senses serve the intellect rather than the emotions. This results in an ability for dispassionate observation and reasoning. Your mind is changeable and at times chaotic, but you can assimilate an indefinite amount of detail. Being versatile and adaptable, you may have two or more vocations, often at the same time...

You have a fondness for action and movement, either physical or mental. Your hands are able, facile and skillful, and you have a well-developed sense of taste and smell. You are not intuitive, but rather you are observant, quick to form impressions, and usually able to verbalize them instantly...

You are attracted to the artistic and literary professions, or any area involving communications. A preference...even a need to do several things at once, is important for your psychological well-being. The intellectual ability of this sign position of the Moon often makes you an avid reader or a talented artisan...

You are reserved in personal matters, and at times others find you cold; you are more interested in the here-and-now than in the past. Torn apart by changing feelings, you can spread yourself too thin and scatter your energies; this can manifest in nervous tension. You know how to play up to others, and at times you may be too shrewd for your own good. Your restless nature is always in search of something new...

An afflicted Moon in Gemini may indicate superficiality and a lack of domesticity in your life...which may be the case since your Pisces Sun squares (a 90-degree aspect that is considered unfavorable) your Gemini Moon. I will delineate this aspect later...

Mercury is the planetary ruler of Gemini, and the key phrase for this sign is, “I think.”

At the time of your birth the mutable air sign Gemini was ascending on the eastern horizon. You’re fully capable of success in radio, television, journalism, literature, or an acting career. Although you tend to be somewhat excitable and easily upset, you’re just as easily assuaged. You’re original; an idea person; very clever in legal matters; inventive...and a lover of logic, science, art and literature. You love to read; therefore you are well-informed, humane, flexible, and very easy to talk to - for you are a born communicator...

With great subtlety you express a desire for command situations or an executive position. You’re one of the few who can do with neither tyranny nor excessive pride. You come from a small-to-moderately-sized family that is usually well-versed in music and art, although some family secrets are the cause of much unhappiness. Gemini rising also realizes unhappiness and trouble through lawyers and/or clergymen. In this unfortunate situation you might easily bring about your own downfall. More than likely though, you’ll probably inherit property and accrue a great deal of professional influence...

In love there are many secrets or changes, with difficulty through (or loss of) children. Intrigue is your stock in trade. Gemini rising often has two or more affairs going at once – either that or you may marry twice...once to someone in another part of the country. This most dual of all signs on your Ascendant frequently means the holding of two jobs or positions at once. It also means that you will always have a wide variety of friends. In fact, there is such an inordinate love of variety in your life that strife occurs as a result of the jealously or selfishness of others...

You have such beautifully balanced willpower and resoluteness of purpose that few people realize your potential for real achievement. Chances are you may have a sibling or relative who holds some kind of executive position or important office...

Aqil
03-20-2004, 12:41 PM
As aforementioned, your natal Sun in Pisces was making an unfavorable aspect to your natal Moon in Gemini at the time of your birth. Here is its delineation:

The square (90° aspect) between the Sun and the Moon in your horoscope means that you will have some difficulty in using your resources to satisfy your desires. You must make enormous adjustments in order to get what you want from life, and you bitterly resent this. It seems as if you never have quite the right training for what you want to do, but you make only half-hearted attempts to acquire the training you need to succeed...

Although you want the “good life,” you’re not willing to discipline yourself to get it. You’re at odds with important people who will not accept you unless you can prove yourself by demonstrating a willingness to work. Your negative response distorts the information you receive, which makes it more difficult to learn from your experiences...

Generally you react to stimuli in a way that is not consistent with achieving the recognition you want. The frustration you feel has inhibited your character development – and is a problem in other areas, including domestic matters, social relationships, emotional interests, and your professional affairs. Your lack of success in these areas shows that you have a lot to learn before you can expect to reap any rewards...

You must learn to bring your emotions and your will into line, and subdue them with intellect and organization. You seem to think that any response will satisfy the will to achieve status, but you will have to realize that only hard work and self-control can get you what you want. What you gain from your habitual actions is inadequate to your needs, as can easily be demonstrated. For one thing, you haven’t progressed from obscure positions to one of responsibility, like the increased responsibility of supervisory and management positions. Also, you either haven’t been able to win favor with people in high places, or you’ve done so by making concessions to them. If you can get your ego out of the way, you will accomplish many things...

You may have some problems in relating to men. Comfortable domestic conditions may be impossible unless you can get that chip off your shoulder. You’re argumentative and defensive, probably because of your emotional insecurity. This can be reversed, however, if you’ll change your combative attitude and become more compromising. There’s a serious misalignment between what you want and what you’re willing to do to get it. In other words, the possibility of realizing your dreams is in direct proportion to the investment you make...

Your natal Moon in Gemini was conjunct your Ascendant (rising sign) at the time of your birth...rising on the eastern horizon. Here is what that means:

The Moon conjoining the Ascendant in your horoscope shows that you have some emotional hang-ups. You want cooperation through close intimate contacts with people, but you tend to distance yourself from people because you are afraid you will become obligated to them. This fear forces you to deny yourself many rewarding friendships in order to be safe from anything that might develop into an intimate contact...

You are a mass of contradictions...making demands on people, but complaining when they do the same to you; expecting others to make overtures to you and withdrawing when they do; hoping for warm social contacts, but severing ties before they can be established...

Though others respond to your compassionate and caring nature, they are also often baffled by your ever-changing moods. You are emotionally vulnerable, and it is hard for you to handle criticism. When you are so confronted, you will withdraw, much like a person born under the water sign Cancer, which is ruled by the Moon. When you do succeed in forming a close relationship, you rarely make any commitment of your affections until you have been assured that the feeling is mutual...

Although you are highly imaginative, you react to stimulating people in a generally negative and critical way. You are so emotional that it is nearly impossible for you to make a fair evaluation of a person's motive towards you. On the surface you are dependent, but you yearn for a quieter role in which you can enjoy the comfort of knowing that someone really cares for you. This can only happen when you lower your defensive barriers and learn to compromise by meeting people halfway...

"Environmental" is a good word for you, and it is important that your environment is peaceful and stable. Because you are home- and family-oriented, you have an innate nurturing instinct, and you love to take care of others. Yet you know what appeals to the public and could be an excellent salesperson. In your childhood your mother played an important role in your life, and you always will maintain an inherent understanding of females and their needs because of that relationship...

You are very emotional, and everyone knows it...you make no effort to hide your feelings...

Since both my Moon and my Ascendant are in Gemini and only my Sun is in Pisces does that mean I am influenced more by Gemini than Pisces? If so than may it be better for me as far as compatibility goes to go with those signs that are compatible with Gemini more than Pisces? Or does it matter? The reason I'm asking is because in reading the compatibility threads you posted I overstand that Gemini goes well with Fire signs while Pisces is better suited to Earth signs but not vice versa. Can you answer my questions for me please? Thanks.

Since both my Moon and my Ascendant are in Gemini and only my Sun is in Pisces does that mean I am influenced more by Gemini than Pisces? No...both the Sun and Mercury, your life ruler, are in Pisces...and Neptune, your ruling planet, is in Capricorn, which is an earth sign.

If so than may it be better for me as far as compatibility goes to go with those signs that are compatible with Gemini more than Pisces? Or does it matter? The fire sign Sagittarius is on the cusp of your 7th house of marriage, intimate relationships, business partnerships and open enemies. This indicates that you are so curious, congenial and self-expressive that you like many people...consequently, you find it difficult to love just one person. "Don't fence me in!" is your motto. The more liberty you have in a marriage or relationship, the happier you will be, and the longer it will last...

More than one marriage is distinctly indicated...you desire companionship more than love or sex, and the mate who understands this will command your respect. If you find the right partner and don't rush into an early marriage, you will idealize your mate and try very hard to please him. A mate born under the sign Sagittarius would be an excellent choice for you if your horoscopes blend...

The reason I'm asking is because in reading the compatibility threads you posted I overstand that Gemini goes well with Fire signs while Pisces is better suited to Earth signs but not vice versa. Can you answer my questions for me please? Thanks. This is true, because air and fire are compatible elements...as is earth and water...

I think I'm comprehending all this a lil bit better. Gosh, I never thought horoscopes could be so complex! I use to think that it was just about the sun sign and if you got that down than hey you're good to go. But now I see that there's the moon, the ascendant, the planets, etc. that come into play and it's just like, wow I've got a lot to learn. That's all right with me though because I love to learn things like this. One day I want to be able to just look into the starry night and know exactly what the universe is saying. I watch the night sky often but I have no idea what those stars are saying...yet. :spinstar: I usually just sit there and admire their beauty. Well anyway, I hope you won't mind that I may be back frequently to ask more questions on all this astrological stuff. Especially pertaining to me and my horoscope. Is that okay with you my brothah?

Oh yeah, and because I never get tired of giving it, here it is again...

...yea I hear you NyAshia....Aqil enlightened me also about these things....I've become a firm believer that there are indeed truths in Astrological wisdom....I've even gotten to the point where I can narrow a persons Sun sign down to no more than 2-3 'choices'.

...although I haven’t done any research into it as of yet, I'm really interested in the why or how......could it be effects of planetary magnetism/gravitational forces during early development...???....Aqil, what do you think...???

music (which is natural law to all Pisceans),

That is my baby....Her College entrance essay (which got her in to Howard where she on the dean's list-I do not usally brag but this calls for it) was on how music saved her when she left all of her family and friends when we relocated to GA, even I couldnt satisfy her completely and the colors of pisces is right on...Maroon was the color of her Prom dress...she was the belle of the ball.

I believe that virgos are the perfect mothers for pisces/aries....what do you think Aquil and what of the relationship of a scorpio father figure to a pisces/aries female teen??

I believe that Virgos are the perfect mothers for Pisces/Aries...what do you think Aqil, and what of the relationship of a Scorpio father-figure to a Pisces/Aries female teen??Virgo is Pisces' opposite and complimentary sign, dinedoll, and earth and water are compatible elements. So the first part of your statement is on point. Both Scorpio and Pisces are water signs, and water represents emotion in astrology. Thus the Scorpio and Pisces would tend to have an emotional relationship. If, however, your daughter is an Aries, then you have the battle of the dictators...

angelicsage:

I have re-created the Heavens for the exact time of your birth and your nativity shows that you were born with both the Sun and the Moon in Pisces, and your time of birth gives you Libra rising. In other words, both your individuality and personality is strongly Piscean in nature, but you see the world through the eyes of a Libra. Here are the planetary delineations:

Your natal Sun is 13 degrees Pisces.

Your natal Moon is 1 degree Pisces.
You have strong feelings and are extremely sensitive. It would help if you had a thicker skin...you tend to react emotionally to every situation you come across. Kind, gentle and considerate of the feelings of others, you are good at taking care of the sick and helpless. But you tend to absorb the energy of others...so avoid those who are always negative. You have a rich, creative and lively imagination, but you should be careful not to spend all your time daydreaming. Very intuitive, you have good ESP and may be quite clairvoyant or psychic. Remember that you too have the right to get what you want from life. If you are always defensive and kowtowing to others, people will take advantage of you and exploit you.

Your Ascendant (rising sign) is 14 degrees Libra.
Very attractive and popular, your charm helps you to get your own way and prevents others from getting angry with you. "Peace and harmony at all costs" is your battle cry. You always try to ameliorate or to cosmetically hide any physical ugliness or any angry feelings between people. Flashy, but not gaudy, you prefer to dress elegantly. You generally have good taste in music, art and literature. Beware of the tendency to compromise yourself in your attempt to be agreeable at all times. A bit of a social butterfly, at times you can be vain and lazy. For the most part, however, you are gracious and affectionate, and your refined and aristocratic demeanor serves as a role model to others.

Mercury is 28 degrees Pisces.

Venus is 4 degrees Pisces.
The planet of love is exalted (meaning its influences are most powerful) in Pisces. It is said that those born with Venus in Pisces are in love with love. You have a dreamy, fanciful, romantic nature and a very creative imagination. Indeed, at times, your private fantasies are more appealing than the reality around you, and it is difficult for you to leave them. You tend to be unselfish and giving in relationships and are extremely sensitive of the needs of others. Be very sure that those you help are worthy of your devotion and are not merely taking advantage of your innocence and naivete.

Mars is 13 degrees Capricorn.
The planet of dynamic energy is exalted in Capricorn. This means that you are extremely ambitious, and that you are willing to work very hard to reach the goals you have set for yourself.

Jupiter is 1 Degree Aquarius.
Your personal growth occurs when you have the freedom to do things in new and interesting ways...this brings out your natural inventiveness. You are an individualist, but you are also attracted to mass movements that emphasize social betterment and you will devote much time and energy to their efforts. Very fair- minded and objective, you have extraordinary skills at organization and administration.

Saturn is 13 degrees Gemini.
You are such a clear thinker and speaker - with a logical, orderly mind - that you are repulsed by abstract, intangible or unorganized thoughts or ideas. But you tend to get uptight about speaking in public because you are afraid to be wrong. Remember that the best way to learn is by making mistakes. However, you will be so carefully prepared that you probably will not make many mistakes anyway. To be interesting to you, ideas have to be practical and useful.

Uranus is 22 degrees Libra.
You - as well as your entire peer group - have a very free, unstable and unconventional approach to relationships and emotional commitments. You will be attracted to experiments in marriage and shared lifestyles. Personal freedom is more important to you than entangling emotional bonds. In the realm of art and aesthetics, you are attracted to the bizarre, shocking and unusual.

Neptune, your ruling planet, is 7 degrees Sagittarius.
You and your entire generation are heavily involved in investigating and idealizing foreign and exotic intellectual systems and religious philosophies. The most extreme ideals will be pursued with gusto. You will be at the forefront of humanitarian attempts to improve the lot of those who are in need of assistance. You will be comfortable with the concept of the "global village."

Pluto is 3 degrees Libra.
For your entire generation, this is a time of radical changes in society's attitude toward marriage and interpersonal relationships. There is a general fear and awe at the power inherent in making emotional or contractual commitments...they will not be entered into lightly.

The Moon's North Node is 15 degrees Capricorn.
You rarely get involved closely with anyone unless he or she has something specific and practical to offer you. You tend to be "all business" when it comes to dealing with others. You're usually so intently focused on a particular goal that you rarely have time for social niceties or casual fellowship. But you can definitely be counted on by others to get things done. When you say that you'll do something, you do it. As such, you're a valuable member of any team situation and will probably rise to a position of leadership within the group. Your trustworthiness and sense of responsibility are unquestioned. But do try to avoid the temptation to "use" others to reach your goals...they might come to resent you.

Upon casual orientation we see that all of the celestial bodies except Saturn and Pluto were transiting the Northern Hemisphere of the Heavens (i.e., below the horizon) at the time of your birth. This emphasis shows that you are a highly opinionated person, and very subjective in your thinking. Your subjective view of life is based on the visceral response to those things that directly affect our personal affairs. This emphasis also indicates that you are apt to work behind the scenes, rather than in the public eye. Although you work could concern public affairs, a gread deal will be done in private...in the background...

You were born with both the Sun and the Moon in Pisces, which means that you were born at or near the time of the New Moon. This astrological combination produces an individual whose nature is extremely emotional and leisure-loving. You are musical, poetic, mystical, mediumistic, and you absorb knowledge without any effort.

People born under this Sun-Moon polarity tend to have big bones and large frames, therefore they do not have the endurance that qualifies one for manual labor. This is especially true when the New Moon is applying to a conjunction with the Sun. In this case the radiant, vital energy is lacking, and the morbid, anxious Piscean tendencies are thereby greatly increased.

You seem to lack confidence in your own prowess and abilities, thus you should seek a thorough and extensive education in the direction indicated by the planetary aspects that involve the Sun and Moon.

In matters pertaining to your health, this Sun-Moon polarity indicates the liability to dyspepsia, derangement of the liver and spleen, plueritis, iron deficiency anemia, and dropsical conditions. It also indicates problems with the feet, the area of the body that is ruled by the sign Pisces. You should eat fruit, vegetables and grains that contain large amounts of iron (e.g., spinach), and you should take ferrum phosphate (the biochemical cell salt for Pisces) daily. And total abstinence from all animal flesh as food is seriously recommended...

The Sun, Moon and Venus, your life ruler, all occupy the 5th house in your horoscope. "Houses are the astrological divisions of our planet Earth, just as the twelve signs of the zodiac are astronomical divisions of the Heavens. The houses number twelve also, and they represent every aspect of human existence. The 5th house is the house of love, creativity, children and social pleasures. This house has regency over your emotional nature. It relates to children, entertainment, public places, your social life and pleasurable activities.

With the Moon in the 5th house your life will be one of very intense social activity, including the development of work in places of entertainment, such as the theatre and other environs where large crowds come together. This lunar placement tends to make you somewhat extroverted, perhaps in spite of your own desires. Whatever the psychological implications of this may be, this influence denotes tremendous change and fluctuation in matters closely connected to risky and speculative transactions, with much time and effort invested in acquiring money. From another point of view, this influence inclines your personality to be devoted to pleasure and the gain thereof. Your affections, unfortunately, aren’t altogether stable or profound, and there is much inconsistency and superfluous adventure in your love affairs.

Most of your energy will be devoted to obtaining success with the opposite sex. In fact, this will draw from you a lot of energy that is required for other activities. At times you may err in choosing as the object of your affections someone who doesn’t deserve your attention at all. The Moon in the 5th house may also refer to the breeding of a child who will become famous (or notorious), and then creating undue effort on your part to maintain (or contain) this reputation. Simultaneously, and despite your healthy hedonistic inclinations, you may find that children require a special attention from you, and that gradually your life will become very involved with the rearing of children.

In love you are imaginative, resourceful and able, but perhaps a little morbid. Your sexual tastes are not uncommon, but a little peculiar. Situations that may bore another person could be a source of interest to you. There’s much independence in your affective relations and – whether or not to your benefit – you’ll create an independent path for love in your life, defying even the slower tendencies of the conventional environment. Be on the watch for intrigues in public places that you frequent, for they may cause you harm. Enemies could be made with other females, and they are very dangerous from all angles.

You dislike counsel or advice in love matters. You’re fully capable of resolving any situation, especially if it applies to the more subjective side of your activities. As a person with a strong taste for pleasure, you don’t require much encouragement to start a deep relationship with another person...
