I'm new to this but I got a few things I'd like to discuss.Firstly I need someone else's point of view on society' curse, the social mirror that is.Personally I feel that what we see today is some messed up idea some former hierarchy came up with and then implemented. This started with me questioning myself, my religion, hell, even what I believed in.Now I'm at a point where most of what is, seems wrong or at least inaccurate.Take marriage for example.
People cheat and say it makes the relationship stronger. Come on now. Men having more than 1 wife was a natural occurance in past social structures, today it is shunned the same a rapist is. Here is a statistic, if every man in the world married 1 woman ther would still be countless unwedded women. Why's that? Indeed there is a reason.African culture says tha a man with more than 1 wife is a strong, not wealthy man. I guess when the slaves were "freed" they loss their culture with their shackles?
Secondly, and lastly, equality. Men and women are equal. That's true. To a point. Plainly a man is a degree higher. I say this because if I were in bed with my wife at 3:00 am. and heard a noise similar to a window being broken and turned and handed her a weapon and said "I heard something downstairs, go check it out." she would furiously refuse and then question my morals. On the other hand if I were asked to do a chore by my wife and refused, I would unethical again. We are equal to a point.
