I'm cooking dinner and we are having a nice quiet evening listening to old school R&B ballads and jazz. :love:

I'm putting together a Valentine's Day gift basket with balloons with a card made on my computer with pictures of us, golf balls, golf tees, mini cars, his favorite candy, and other little nice things that I think he'll enjoy. We are both kids at heart so I think he'll like it. :rolling:

Every year I try to do something "creative" and meaningful. Last year I did a "Romantic Breakfast". When he came down the stairs the first thing he saw was a white table-clothed table. (Setting for one) Tall glass of OJ. The Sports section from that days paper, a breakfast plate that looked like it came straight off a B. Smith (our version of Martha Stewart) episode. Full of his favorite Breakfast Meats, Golden Eggs, French Toast. Garnished with Long Stemmed Strawberries. (which can be found just in time for Valentine's Day). Just so he could start his day off right before going to work and dealing with the knuckle heads that he works with. I put a lot into that day and didn't think it was ALL THAT but, He REALLY GOT A KICK OUT OF THAT. I think he maybe expecting the BREAKFAST LIKE THAT again this year. I also tried to do a Romantic Candle lit- Jazz in the Background, Dinner later that day. I went out searching for the BIGGEST T-BONE STEAK that I could find to along with a nice salad, baked potato, roll and a glass of White Zinfadel...But I'm thinkin' every woman and her Mama must've been Cooking the Same Dinner! cause by the time I got to the Meat Section? The pickings for the Biggest T-Bone? were SLIM! His steak was kinda on the PUNY SIDE! I think Scooby-Doo would've passed on that bad-boy! Just the other day he was like: "Last year's Valentine's Day? Baby, I gotta give it to you, that was ALL RIGHT!" So maybe I'll shoot for Round 2. Get to the MEAT STORE before all them other GULS! -or do something totally different as far as Menu!

2nd what i just did just set the mood right
we love to role play alot keeps the sex interesting

3rd i pick out what person i want to play
he play right along with me

4th we pick out a destination where we will be having dinner

5th we exchange our gifts of love

6th i leave in a hurry

7th i pull over pretend i need help with my car
now mind ya were two strangers (hhehhehheh)

8th he pulls over to ask why i ran away and helps
me with my problem

9th i follow him to his place because he has the tools to fix
it my so-called problem

10 we go at like two young teenagers on a hot summer night

This is a good Idea..... What would it be called?

Herb roasted cornish game hens, wild rice pilaf, steamed asparagus, tossed salad, warm rolls w/ butter, :wine:, home made chocolate mouse spiked w/ bourban for dessert, eaten by candle lite with some romantic jazz playing in the back round...


Wish I could do all that.. but we will be out of town while he attends a conference. Hopefully we can find a cozy lil' restaurant as the next best thing... then again, there's always room service :chef: by candle lite w/ soft jazz :drums: playing in the back round followed by lots and lots of :kiss2:

Indeed Keita. I mentioned that Blacks should celebrate this day of massacre in our own innovative way, Black Reconciliation Week, perhaps?! The week of Feb 14 can be spent showing love to fellow Brothers & Sisters.


Anywho, I think my man & I will end up taking a romantic trip out to Pebble Beach, barbeque a lil' somethin, sit on the rocks, and let the water splash our legs, mosy on down the 17 mile drive (Pebble Beach), then end up chillin in afront the fireplace, reminiscing.....a movie wouldn't be bad.

I will have extras yall cause i know they all aint gunna make it in there.

2) He will have a deilevery thanks to an online gift service.. of red roses.. (i believe in givin men roses, they need a reminder of gentil yet elegant beauty found in flowers too) and from a local bakery.. some chocolate turtle cookies.. half dipped in chocolate.. with lil stick devils on em.

3) ill be meeting him at a lil breakfast eatery that mornin.. before we head off to work..

4) At work.. there will be a dilevery from a local business which we both deal with.. so hes going to think its anevery day deal...
inside the box there will be a desk size portrait of me (shut up yall!) and some chocolates.. along with tickets to the Nets /knicks game on the 24th in NY... for him and his 2 goofball friends. (gotta keep the boys on your side)

5) I will end my portion of the day...
with him meeting me at the spa.. for massages.. and facials..(gotta have my mans face smooth!.. for the lovin thats comin later!)..

The good Lord broke da' mold after creating him...

We'll go out to dinner at a restaurant that's doing something special for lovers.

We then come back to his place or my place and exchange gifts that we've wrapped in a very creative or elaborate way. We like to give each other several gifts--nothing expensive, just little things that we know the other one wants or likes. He loves chocolate, so I always get him a box of Godiva candy or biscuits. One of his gifts to me is always something that he likes for me to wear.

Lastly, we dim the lights and get out our special massage oil and one of us gets a full body massage while romantic music plays in the background. The one who doesn't get the massage gets an IOU for a massage in the near future.

Have a picnic in our living room, spread a blanket buy some wine cheese and bread, light some candles.Spend the evening laughing and talking w/ each other.
