View Full Version : Poetry : Hidden In my Veins

I'm on my way to meet this blind date.
Blind because we've never met and also because she can't
possibly see what's H idden I n my V eins.
Though the truth is hidden in my brain,
still I'll never tell.
Why?
Well, that's simple, in this society honesty doesn't sell.
It's the lies and deceit that we greet, with open arms.
Positive attributes we push aside for the swearing and the porn.
So, don't blame me, I just deliver what's demanded.
They want sex, I give them sex straight from the internet to
where they're standing.
See, what's H idden I n my V eins is not a secret, though that is how I like to keep it.
Cause I know like you know, no one on earth would want to sleep with an infected lover.
Hell, I know sistahs that won't even stand next to their infected brothas, let alone others, with the same symptoms.
So I play it low key and let my game tempt 'em.
It's survival of the fit
and what's H idden I n my V eins is fit to leave no survivors.
And the funny thing is there's literature about it
but apparently there's no subscribers.
Cause somebody got me just like somebody got them
and my date claims that she has a man so in turn,
this is how she got him and all she had to do was ask.
But now she has to be the one
to find out that though the eyes may see the killer
they don't always see the gun.
