Love's Ride

Where has my love taken me?
A broken heart and a skinned up knee.
You see, sometimes it's like climbing a tree
you think you're on a strong branch,
but it breaks, next thing you know,
the sky's the only thing in your face.

I met this guy once, said he was different,
he'd never do what the other's did,
took my love and ain't seen him since.
Met this one man on my way to school,
he had a shiny new car and just talked so cool,
drove me around in circles and dropped me off at the shallow end of loves swimmin' pool.
Now I met this one dude, he told me he was a stud.
He wore these pretty, fine clothes, and said he had all his fabulous cars lined up in a row...
I coulda had more fun watchin' the grass grow.

Oh well, it's back to Love's drawing board I guess,
Where has my love taken me you ask?
Well, to the heart of experiences' treasure chest
(lookin' at it in a good way is best).
Anyway, I'm off to take another risk...
Excuse me while I go reel in the next fish.

if ya heart is able & willing

as time moves on ya love
