This Thursday 1/16/03 at 9:00p.m. (eastern standard) myself and several old Destee chat members are going to once again try to revive the night chat. One of the many topics will be the possible demise of destee chat (at least in its current form).

All are welcome. Come as you are, and bring interesting topics.

I saw where you had posted on another thread ... letting us know you had made your long awaited arrival to the forum !!! :toast:

You are so correct in regard to the demise of our current chat solution. I had peeked into the chat a couple of days ago and let those who were in there know ... our current service provider is going out of business and we have to come up with a new soluiton. We've had this current chat (http://www.destee.com/chat) since 1999 and these next few days will be our last days using it.

I've already begun working on the new chat solution and am hoping I'll have it all ready and customized in the next day or so. This way we can have both of them up for a small period of time ... providing some time for transition.

I'll try to be at the chat tonight as well.

You'll now need to be a REGISTERED MEMBER OF THIS FORUM to access chat.

The new address above will always get you to the chat. The old address will eventually get you to the new chat ... once the old one has quit working.

Every Forum Member may go into the chat and "chat."

Again, you must be registered and logged in on the forum to gain access. If you're not, you'll be prompted to login.

It's still rough around the edges, so bear with me. I just wanted to get something up for us, so we'd not be completely chatless. Play around with it and let me know how it's working for you.
