You are the sex sign of the zodiac, and, as such, you have a very passionate, intense and possessive nature. You are ideally mated with one of the earth signs – Capricorn, Taurus or Virgo...
Sexy Taurus is well suited to your strenuous physical nature, and you both enjoy excessive sensuality...Scorpio dominates while Taurus consolidates, preserving and securing what the two of you have together. You enjoy the intensity of the Taurean response to your strong-willed and thorough sexual nature...
If you will use a romantic approach, making Capricorn feel loved and wanted, this is an ideal union. Virgo would also be a wonderful mate, if the Scorpio power does not become too overwhelming. Virgo can supply the fidelity and integrity that Scorpio needs, while Scorpio can give Virgo the passionate, secret sex The Virgin so desires. The mental and highly discriminating Virgo will admire the courageous, no-holds-barred attitude of Scorpio...
Avoid any sexual relationship with another water sign. While Cancer is also highly sexed, there is no meeting ground anywhere else, and the alliance will be quite stormy. Affectionate, sympathetic Pisces will seem very shallow to Scorpio, who values – above all else – in-depth relationships...
With the air signs the relationships are never good. Gemini is too flippant and flighty for the moody, intensely passionate Scorpion. Libra is too superficial, and the undersexed Aquarian would be impossible for the oversexed Scorpion...
Mating with one of the fire signs is also ill-advised, for the mighty waters of Scorpio will invariably extinguish any flame. Scorpio and Aries – two dictators – would soon be at each other’s throats. While both Scorpio and Leo are very passionate, each has very different ideas about ways and means, thus there would be constant ego conflicts. And Sagittarians are too open and frank for the highly secretive Scorpion, therefore romance here is best avoided...
Regina 02-25-2003, 06:06 PM Tell me the compatibility between a Scorpio and a Leo...
Thank you.
The information you request is right above your post, Regina...
Applejacque 03-07-2003, 10:31 PM ,....and it's on the first poetry thread. It's called "The Infinite Ones". I challenge those who would read this message right now, to go over on the poetry board and read my piece and see if it ties in to a Scorpio,.....
Sista Steele 03-17-2003, 02:45 PM Regina, I just ended a 15 month relationship with a Scorpio and I'm a Leo. I feel so drained. He was a taker and with me being a giver...well you can understand why I feel the way I do. He was controlling and jealous. He was meticulous about everything and that's not even what really got on my nerves. The constant put-downs in our arguements and the pettiness of our disagreements is what drove me away. I just couldn't take it anymore! I'm laid back and don't trip off the little things...
Some positive things: very funny. He was charming and let me be the center of his world. He always complimented me on my hair and dress.
I'm feeling very good about my decision to leave him. I'm no longer stressed out.
Water and fire are incompatible elements...
alter 03-27-2003, 05:30 PM sun, ascendant in scorpio, moon in libra, i understand your relief at the relationship being over ... we r a draining bunch, i'm told, but at the same time, we seem to possess a formidable capability to uplift as well...barring negative environmental influences, which, unfortunately, we as black folk have seen too many. they say scorpio is broken down into the dove, eagle and scorpion scorpio, each corresponding to the individual state of spiritual elevation, as well as a special, phoenix-like transformative state which i wish i could do, or am in the process of doing, right at this moment. lol...life as a stream in a magical thought, in deed.
peace post(s), akil.
You are a DOUBLE Scorpio with Moon in Libra, alter... powerful focal points indeed...and thank you for your most interesting comments.
When I saw that you were a double Scorpio with the Moon in Libra, I thought of former president Jimmy Carter, who is a double Libra with the Moon in Scorpio!!!
alter 03-29-2003, 01:54 AM ...no wonder president carter talks too much, no disrespect intended, but libras are such wonderful communicators. :)
the scorpionic tendency is toward such an extreme, it is difficult to sublimate those plutonian energies. again, this is a wonderful forum. i've never seen its like. ankh oodja, seneb.
Thank you, alter...glad to have you aboard...
From a casual orientation of your natal chart, sweetscorp, Virgo or Sagittarius would be an ideal mate...

Aqil,
I enjoyed reading this topic. It was interesting to note the things that were true for me that I never even thought about. I have always said I am the classic Scorpio. After reading your column, I realize this is even truer than I knew.
In the Scorpio and Sexuality column you mention that Scorpios and Aries are a definite no-no. Do you have some tips to get around that fact? I know fire and water don't mix, but what if I am really feeling this guy? In this column you said that Aries were a neutral match. Can you explain that statement, as well?
Thanks, for being on Destee. Every time I think I have found every good thing here, I discover something new.
Blessings blaquebutterfli, mating with any of the fire signs is ill-advised, for the mighty waters of Scorpio will invariably extinguish any flame. Scorpio and Aries – two dictators – would soon be at each other’s throats. The basis for the neutrality between the two signs is the fact that both signs are ruled by Mars, the planet of war...
Re: compatibility...it might be that you have an Aries Moon or Aries rising. If you have Libra rising, then Aries is your natural mate. Or, your mate might have the Moon in Scorpio or Scorpio rising. If he has Taurus rising, then Scorpio would be his natural mate...
blaquebutterfli 08-27-2003, 02:03 PM Okay, now that you have completely lost me, can you tell me how I would be able to know what moon or rising I (and he)have?
Sorry to sound so confused, I'm still learning.
I would have to construct a natal chart for you. In order for me to do that I would have to know your date, time and place of birth...
blaquebutterfli 08-27-2003, 03:28 PM Here they are...
November 16, 1972

Gainesville, Florida,USA
Briefly:
You were born with the Sun in Scorpio, the Moon in Pisces, and your time of birth gives you Virgo rising. In other words, you are a Scorpio with a Pisces personality who sees the world through the eyes of a Virgo...
Upon casual orientation of your natal chart I see that you are a born communicator...and writing is certainly your forte. Your chart shows that a mate born under the sign Pisces would be an ideal choice...
blaquebutterfli 08-28-2003, 09:37 AM Hmmm, interesting. I always think of myself as the classic Scorpio personality. Maybe I need to do some reading on Pisces now. Doesn't do much for the love life, but interesting nonetheless. Thank you very much for the information.
be peace

You're quite welcome, blaquebutterfli...
The Moon was in the mutable water sign Pisces at the time of your birth, blaquebutterfli, thus you are attracted to whatever appears to your emotions and feelings – in music, literature or poetry. Emotion is a major factor in all your activities. You are quiet, retiring, amiable, and sympathetic to the underdog. You are gentle, at times easy-going, unworldly and dreamy. You change your mind often; thus you can be undependable, unpredictable, easily discouraged, and depressed.
Pisces is the most emotional of the water signs, thus you are very responsive to the depths of human experience, and you have understanding and affection for all people. You are emotionally naive, and you continually overlook other people's shortcomings and deficiencies. At one time or another, hospitals, prisons or institutions of some kind will play an important role in your life.
You do not like to face facts coldly and objectively, and your relationships will suffer because your feelings are so sensitive. At times you may lack humor and common sense, and you will withdraw into seclusion to protect yourself emotionally. Your senses can deceive you because of your overdeveloped romanticism and optimism. You can be easily hurt, however, and you may even develop a persecution complex. Because you want to believe the best about everything, truth and reality deeply affect you.
This is the most psychic position of the Moon, yet there may be sorrow and many obstacles in reaching your goals. You need to feel sheltered and loved, and you like beauty, harmony and comfort around you because you suffer in adverse environments. You have a flair for music, composing or writing, because this lunar position confers musical, poetic, and artistic talent. Whatever you do, it is emotional and romantic, and your creative output is fluid, prodigious and imaginative.
Depending upon the aspects, this can be the best or worst sign position of the Moon in a horoscope. If its house placement is favorable, a Pisces Moon gives true vision; if the placement is unfavorable, it can cause total illusion or disillusion. The fact is that the Moon in Pisces can be one of the most appealing, entertaining and humorous of all the sign positions. It often adds a silent magnetism that attracts members of the opposite sex. However, you may marry late, and emotional excess may bring about health problems...
Neptune is the planetary ruler of Pisces, and the key phrase for this sign is, “I believe.”

jamesfrmphilly 10-30-2004, 11:43 AM communicate, communicate!
i think communication is more intimate than sex and i've had plenty of sex in my day.
get a counselor to help you learn how.
get some self help books.
communicate, communicate, communicate.
father, mother, children.
communication is the key for a good and happy family.
BTW - my girlfriend is a Virgo and we've been together over 20 years.
1hotvirgowoman 11-01-2004, 03:29 PM What can I say-Virgos Rock!! No really,That's Great! Congratulations to you, 20 years is a long time.....but if you been with her for soo long, why haven't you married her? just curious.Did you have an on-again- off-again relationship? any kids? What attracted you to her? Yeah, I know I'm being nosey, that's another one of Virgo's traits...Why is it that you think communication is more intimate than sex?.I feel you on that one, because before I was married , me and my man communicated and connected, it was great and I loved how close we were. We never really argued, if we did it was always over petty stuff, nothing major. Now, we barely talk to each other. I try to take us out of our regular atmosphere (dancing, bars, etc;) but he doesn't want to go, but let one of his friends call and it's"Where did Frank go?" cause he don' up and left me!!!. That both hurts me and pisses me off, thus I end up holding a grudge!. Why do men do that? my dad does that to my mom too. Well, I don' wore out my welcome James. I'll holla' @ you later...

1hotvirgowoman 11-01-2004, 06:24 PM :haha: Now that's funny!! Why, is she that violent?. What thread was it so that I can go there?..Thanxs
Hi Aqil! I have a question for you. I'm a Virgo female and my husband is a Scorpio - why do we argue so much about nuthin'? He is nitpicky and critical - even moreso than I (and I'm the Virgo!) I like to live and let live and he likes to ruffle my feathers and blame me for his troubles - what's up with that? Oh, my ascendant is Libra and his is Gemini. It may be that your husband's Scorpio Sun is in the 6th house, or that he has a stellium (a grouping of planets) in the 6th house, which is ruled by Virgo on the natural zodiac. And when he ruffles your feathers and blames you for his troubles, he is expressing his Gemini Ascendant...:) What are your Moon-signs?
I want to ask you something else. It's funny, Scorpios are said to be the most sexual sign of the zodiac - but I find that this is not true! I'm a Virgo and it seems that I want to get down more than my man who is a Scorpio. What's the deal? My Mars is in Scorpio - could that be an issue? Shed some light on me...Mars in Scorpio is indeed powerful, because Mars rules Scorpio, thus it is dignified (meaning its influences are strong) in this sign. These influences are even more powerful if your natal Mars is in the 8th house or the 10th house in your horoscope...
