I am sure that if we look back far enough
we can find many reasons to cry.
And looking ahead we could find a path to a bright sunshine.

But since yesterday is gone tomorrow is not promised
Think it’s possible that you just might simply,

Love me now, right now in this moment.
Just as I am with all of my shortcomings and flaws?

With all of my idiosyncrasies that sometimes cause pain between you and me, could you love me?

Just simply love me, right here, right now.
