Sam and Max had been fishing together for a long time. However, Max, a Park Ranger, had never been able to get up as early as Sam and go out on the lake the first thing in the morning to fish with him.

By the time Max usually got to the dock, Sam was coming back in with a huge catch.

One year, Max got plenty of rest and managed to get up early to go out with Sam to fish. As Sam started the boat motor, and moved the boat out to a secluded part of the lake, he took his fishing rod; tied a stick of dynamite to the line, lit the fuse, and cast the dynamite into the water a few yards from the boat.

The explosion sent fish to the surface. Sam rowed the boat over to the spot, and scooped the fish up with a net.

Max lost it!

"SAM! What ARE you doing?"

"Fishing" said Sam, calmly.

"Sam...we've been friends for years, and fishing buddies for years. Using dynamite is illegal. Sam, I'm gonna have to arrest you."

Sam reached into the cooler, calmly pulled out another stick of dynamite, lit the fuse, and tossed it into Sam's lap.

Then, he looked him right in the eyes and said, "Now Max, are you gonna talk, or are you gonna FISH?"
