well, here i am, i opened my mouth, asked for a female voice and now here i am with this foot in my mouth.

i say that because i by no means consider myself a columnist or the voice of all females. i do have my own opinions as as i stated before, i am not an expert in anything but my own opinions, and yes those are bounds to change.

anyway, i requested a female as a columnist because often times i read some of the threads by the other columnists here and see religion and chauvanistic viewpoints. well, i don't have many of those, so i guess there will be a different voice.

you won't find me doing alot of research and long drawn out "proof" to back up my statements. my opinions are just that, my opinions. but then again, so are those research and studies done but others.

with all that said, thanks Destee for this new challenge. now i'll have to be more conscientious of my grammar and do spell check.

:toast: to some more conversations!

No, I'm not 'setting you up'.

Why would you bring up such a matter?

I think that you'll be surprised that many of the brotherhood are quite comfortable in discussing issues concerning the sisterhood. The only problem I note is that some of the sisterhood aren't really interested in what brothers have to say...then 'chide' them for what they did say.

Why, in your post area...concerning women...put something up to 'assume' that men aren't comfortable talking about issues that apply to women? Maybe that's your sense of humor talking. I hope that it is not paranoia.

On mine, if women want to come by, hey, ALL are welcome! Never said I was 100 percent right when I write, but I calls them as I sees them.

Destee invited all of us to contribute.

And, we've had some great discussions here on the webline.

I'd like to see those discussion continue...we may be helping someone, in the long run.

And, the long run is what I'm after.

do some research, read the comments and suggestions board...you'll see what my original suggestion was.

the comment about brothers was made in a thread where i commented on pantyliners. "venting thread"

so who's paranoid? and yes, you'll soon understand my humor. what i will admit to being is an antagonist. hmmmm, i should have Destee add sarcastic as well.

the set-up i spoke of, was you being nice and warm in welcoming me but also ready to take aim on the firing line. so it was a reference to what you had originally stated. ;)

Peace to you too!

yes, i liked that little pamphlet too. unfortunately right now i can't use too many of the essential oils listed.

but i was enjoying them for a while!

actually, there aren't too many rules. everything you do over there, you can do here. trust me, if Destee was that stringent, i would have been edited, warned and maybe even banned a few times.

the thread on the Male BC is entitled, "Don't wanna pay child support." as i said to the brothas over there, I'm quite surprised by the responses. the responses to this thread here have been that the sole responsiblity for birth control is for women.

leave them whiteys alone. :):) ;) lol!

give www.destee a change, you know how we are about supporting black business. :) hang around or peek in sometimes, i'm sure you're bound something you could speak on.
