I am ready for love
love are you ready for me?
Emotion runs highs
as i long to see
if there is a possibility
there is a right one for me.

The world goes by
and the candles burns low
as form my impoverish soul these words flow
and as my pen eats the paper
the night wears on
my heart continues it lonely song.

The light of love has never touched me
and many a time hope has left me
and fleeting thoughts
has grasp my mind
in hopes, seeking to find
a remnant of love left behind.

my travels have taken me
far and wide
down school bus isles
to flights in the sky
and with every glance
i hope to seek
that true one for me
imagine that first-sight vibe
i've read of in prose
and been told of by bards
and dreamed of...
with each passing day
that one simple spark...

imagine...there are so many of us who say "thought i was the only one..." when reading what you just shared...it's funny to think that if that is true...that perhaps in our hope and longing we've donned a pair of blinders during our search...we seem to walk as if ghost on this earth overly focused in search of that one sweet destiny...sorta like can't see the forest for the trees...
